Welcome to Love Blossoms UK. Based in Abbots Langley Herts, we are happy for items to be collected. We deliver to Abbots Langley, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Kings Langley, St Albans and other areas. We also have a huge range of items that can be posted in the UK and even abroad.

Due to family commitments I aim to respond to messages by the end of the next working day. I do not tend to message over the weekend unless it's urgent

I will not tolerate anyone copying my work and ask all members to keep an eye out for this happening.

I am located in Abbots Langley and charge 50p /mile for delivery if you are unable to pick up items. This may be adjusted for larger orders.

PLACING YOUR ORDER

When ordering please provide the following information:
What you want
Ideal collection /delivery time and date
When the item is for or start time of party
Any adverse conditions and access problems I should be made aware of
Where the items will be placed
Any potential delivery /collection problems. Ie any access issues such as stairs. Also if you're concerned about the size of your car please contact me
I may charge more if I have unexpected access problems as I give a quote taking my time etc into consideration
I will need a clear space if I'm inflating onsite, so please ensure I have a safe area to work in. Please make sure everyone, especially children, stay away from my equipment

GUIDANCE

Generally, air filled balloons have a longer lifespan than helium filled. Latex helium filled balloons do not last very long and are generally ideal for parties etc, some latex designs can be treated. Foil balloons will still be floating for a week if they are treated well. However they may look deflated if exposed to cold temperatures. If this happens, the balloon will reinflate when it goes back to room temperature. Likewise, being exposed to heat can cause leaks or even burstings due to air pressure. I provide cello for any balloons that are kept on the floor, to avoid burstings but you need to have a bit of common sense, avoid rough surfaces or adverse weather conditions. If an accident occurs, you can bring the design back for repair if possible

All items are sold as seen, I check them as I pass them over and I suggest you do the same. Please raise any concerns then so they can be addressed immediately

Generally I provide large bouquets, as it's not practical to give small bunches. If flowers are in a living vase, you can leave them as they are for a few days providing you keep them watered and remember to give them flower food. To get the best from your flowers, keep them in clean water with flower food, recut the stems every few days, discard any leaves that look unhealthy or are below the water line. If any flowers begin to droop I can give advice on how to revive them.

Flowers and plants are bought either that day or the day before directly from my wholesaler so there are never issues with their lifespan, please contact me if you have any problems with their care

Large helium filled foil balloons will be floating for at least a week, smaller foils for at least 5 days. Latex generally only float for the day, treated balloons last longer but as latex is a natural product I can't make any guarantees, although most float for at least a week. Air filled designs should stay looking plump of at least 3 days. Conditions such as humidity and heat will affect the lifespan of your balloons as well as their treatment.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

I quality check all products before selling so do not offer a refund under any circumstances

Items are sold as seen so I suggest checking immediately to raise concerns straight away. Plants and flowers need to be cared for correctly

I inflate foil balloons several hours in advance to check for manufacturer faults, and latex at least an hour before. Any deflations that occur afterwards are due to their treatment (although this may be unintentional. ) I use the best quality products and provide great aftercare services so if in doubt please speak to me

To ensure you get the best out of your balloons, please follow these guidelines
* For collections, make sure you car is big enough and clear to avoid damage or squashing, ALWAYS check if you aren't sure
*I provide bags for all balloons
* Be careful when transporting especially during adverse weather conditions
* If the balloon gets cold or wet it will appear deflated, don't worry, it will go back to normal when they go back to room temperature. Do not put them near heat to warm them up!
* Overheating WILL cause leaks or even burstings. I keep my home at 22 degrees (except in the summer) so please let me know if your car or home are warmer. Avoid leaving in warm cars and hot areas in your home such as near radiators, lights, warm pipes, air con units or windows. In the summer please ask for advice if you aren't sure.
* Floor standing air filled displays needs to go on the floor cover provided, and be kept clean and dust /hair free. Also check the area the cover is on is smooth and free from rough /sharp objects. Due to the weight the floor balloons are carrying, they WILL burst if not kept clean and away from sharp objects. ALL latex balloons need to be kept clean
* Balloons are for display purposes only, I'm sure your child may wish to play with them but this may dramatically shorten the lifespan of your balloons. Children should not be left unattended and any injuries are the responsibility of the child's carers. Although I like your child to enjoy their balloons, I am not responsible for their car
* I use water weights so please be careful when disposing of them

WHAT HAPPENS IF THINGS GO WRONG

Please contact me immediately if you have any problems and we will try to resolve them. Flowers and plants are the highest quality and bought to order, usually fresh from Holland that day

Other items have manufacturer guarantees but only if treated well

If something goes wrong at a party I have decorated, please contact me immediately

If something goes wrong with a balloon gift, again please contact me immediately. I am happy to repair if I can but will charge 50p /mile transport costs unless you are able to come to me. Please think carefully about this and take extra care of your items if you have no car. On top of this you will need to pay for the repairs. I replace air filled latex for free. Foils and helium filled latex are replaced at half the price of the original cost of just that original foil as a good will gesture, for example a £15 balloon person's head has been damaged, the head costs £2. 50 so I charge £1. 25 to replace, as the rest of the person is intact. Although I keep spares, replacements may not be exactly the same if I don't have that design in stock. Foil balloons can be repaired for £1 small £2 larger, I use an indiscrete specialist tape.
