Make a no-tie apron with multiple pockets.
Learn how to tailor your pattern to fit perfectly – and either use the 5 pocket pattern supplied, or make a pattern for your own pocket design.
Use contrasting or patterned fabrics to create pockets that stand out – or make a more subtle apron with self fabric pockets.

The Moss is a semi-fitted skirt that sits slightly below the natural waist and works up well in a variety of fabrics, from denim to wool to corduroy and many fabrics in-between. Skirt features a fly front and button closure as well as a yoke at the back. If mini isn't quite your style, add the hem band to create the longer silhouette of View B or use a second fabric for a bit of contrast.
Techniques involved include straight and curved seams, inserting a fly front zipper, and basic hemming. Pattern is nested to facilitate cutting between sizes if needed. For more information and how to book please follow the link to the tickets

The Cocoon jacket is a real comfort coat. It hangs off the shoulders and bubbles out, coming in again just under you bum, concealing all and enveloping you in cosy cocoon of warmth – hence the name.
Available to make in sizes UK 8 – 26
The Cocoon Jacket is such a simple shape and is very easy to put together, but the beauty of it is in the subtle details such as the oversize cuffs that just differentiate themselves with their contrasting texture and the notches around the nec...kline which stop it looking too boxy. The front panels are lined so you get flashes of the inside fabric too.
For this class, if you have an overlocker, you are welcome to bring it to finish the seams with it to achieve a more professional look. The overlocker must be pre-threaded and in working condition. If you are not confident in using your overlocker I will give you some guidance.

They are aprox 12" tall and filled with rice and stuffing.
... There will be a choice of fabrics available to choose from for the hats. If you like to use a specific fabric, please bring 2 fat quarters.
Tea and coffee are always free during all classes.
This is a Sunday class and you can park in the courtyard, directly outside our sewing room in front of Unit 3 and Unit 7.
