Happy Easter to everyone, including our wonderful staff who are working this weekend as they do every weekend, especially during this difficult time.
We ask that you take a moment to think of staff on the front line today, and if you can, to donate to our Covid-19 Response Fund, so that we can continue to support them while these incredibly challenging circumstances continue.

We are thrilled and so grateful to announce that our Covid-19 Response Fund has now passed the ┬Ż20,000 mark, so to everyone who has donated so far, thank you!
This money will help support our incredible staff, as we fund food supplies for meals, wellbeing support and so much more.
Also, first on the list to purchase is a number of radios for patients in isolation and those elderly patients that would benefit from some entertainment whilst in the Hospital!
... However, weŌĆÖve still got so much more we want to do to help staff and patients! WeŌĆÖre working right across the hospital to work with staff to see how best to support them, but we can only do that if you continue to donate, so please, if you can, consider giving a gift!

Amazing to see from the team in the Children's Unit, we certainly are all in this together!

The hospital has received wonderful offers from schools to cook and bring in food for staff.
With the closures of staff canteens, cafes, and restaurants demand is higher than ever for staff to get a hot meal in during their (albeit very short) breaks.

Thank you for all the donations over the weekend, but we've still got more we can do to support staff and volunteers at Musgrove!
One of the things we'll be purchasing with your donations is DAB Radios (pictured below) for single rooms where patients are isolating, around 150. If you can, think about donating ┬Ż19.99 to cover the cost of one of these radios, meaning patients on their own will have something to listen to at this difficult time.

We are here to support the NHS and staff at Musgrove Park and will continue to do so during this difficult situation. Staff are working incredibly hard to keep us safe; their dedication, commitment and passion to continue to deliver exceptional care during this unprecedented period is truly inspirational and we are extremely proud of them.
In light of their hard work, and the challenge facing the community, we are encouraging everyone to rally behind Musgrove as ...well as saying thank you to staff during this extremely difficult time. The best way to say thank you is to donate to our brand new Covid-19 Response Fund, where money can be used where it is most needed, which includes:
Staff Wellbing projects, support for the busy departments, like ITU (Intensive Therapy Unit) and items to support those in isolation

The Maternity Unit and Love Musgrove are hosting a Masquerade Fundraising Ball to raise funds for the #MusgroveBabies Appeal.
Tickets will be ┬Ż45 each, expect a three course meal, charity auction, raffle, and live music to raise money for the Maternity Unit. Join us at Batch Country House, Weston-super-Mare on Saturday 16th May 2020.

Huge congratulations and well done to Amanda N Jo and Mary-meerkat Pollard who braved a Head Shave in aid of the Beacon Centre and our Eliot Ward Improvement Project!
TheyŌĆÖve raised a brilliant ┬Ż1,542.41 and we could not be more grateful! We even got to see the shave as it happened in the Concourse. The ladies decided a head shave was a great idea in support of AmandaŌĆÖs wife Joanne who is currently having treatment for cancer.
Well done ladies!
