About Loving Births Limited

A full antenatal training program to help you give birth more comfortably and confidently. KG Hypnobirthing group and individual courses in the North West.

Loving Births Limited Description

I am a mum of two and when I became anxious about the birth of my second baby, I looked into hypnobirthing. The more I learnt the more my confidence grew about the choices I had to choose the birth that suited me. I learnt to let go of the anxieties and worries becoming deeply relaxed and gaining a much better understanding of how my body worked and that my baby knew what to do.

Since then I continued to study KG Hypnobirthing and have since qualified as a KG Hypnobirthing teacher so that I can help mums to have positive birth experiences and begin motherhood feeling at their best.

I now deliver group and individual courses to mums and couples across the Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire areas.

It's sad that this is necessary, however when you scratch the surface to see how much commercial influence there is on our maternity services and infant feeding, it's clear that we can't take much of the information we receive at face value.
If you want to make an informed decision about antenatal or infant care, it's necessary to do some of your own research. Look at the evidence and take information only from impartial sources, free from commercial bias....

Sara Wickham = really helpful reading when you want to make informed decisions about induction of labour 👌

This gorgeous bunch of then parents-to-be all now have beautiful 6 month old babies and have all formed incredible friendships and bonds 💖😍
Parenting is quite possibly the most challenging experience people undertake. Having good support to make positive and informed choices enable you to enjoy and make the most of this very special time ✨

I just had to share this with you....
Making our experiences in life such positive ones is so often about PERSPECTIVE 💭
In Hypnobirthing we often refer to contractions as SURGES or WAVES.... they can be strong and powerful, made by your body. YOU ARE STRONG AND POWERFUL!
... Understanding why and how birth happens and the vast amount of choices you really do have are key to taking control of a situation and enabling you to view it in a more accurate and positive way ✨

❤️ Love a bit of baby news ❤️
Like her sister in law, Meghan learnt Hypnobirthing, this means that dads prepare too so that mums get the best support possible from the person closest to her 🙏

🏡There's no place like home🏡
Choosing a place to birth where you feel comfortable and relaxed is really important for your birthing body to work as it's designed.
Using facts and balanced information to make the decision is essential in enabling you to get the right level of care, combined with what's best for you. Be sure to weigh up all birth places (the right to birth at home is protected in law) so that you understand the BENEFITS, RISKS AND ALTERNATIVES.
... If you choose a homebirth and decide you want to head to hospital that's totally your choice; that might be based on how you feel, or a recommendation from your midwife.
Even if you make a plan, you can choose to adapt it or change it along the way with whatever feels right at the time. When you have prepared, you are making your choices in an informed way, knowing that you are getting what you and your baby need.

It's simply unacceptable that Meghan is being referred to as a 'birth brat' for wanting to make important choices about her body and her baby and this lady hits the nail on the head....

✨KG Hypnobirthing ✨
However you birth, your experience of meeting your baby for the first time should be the way you choose so that it's the best and most positive birth for you 🙏

Sweeps are performed very regularly from the 40 week mark and is a form of 'induction' albeit without using drugs. This is very similar to how it works....
Remember that 37-42 weeks is the normal range of pregnancy!
Do you know the percentage of women likely to go into labour spontaneously within 24 hours following a membrane sweep?
... Some women's cervixes are pretty 'ripe' and ready at this point and the procedure may feel acceptable.
Others may still have another couple of weeks to ripen and those women could feel quite a bit of discomfort with no onset of labour imminent.
❗ASK ❗
❓What does the procedure involve? ❓What is the likelihood of me going into labour spontaneously? ❓Will this be helpful for me and my baby? ❓Are there any negatives? ❓What will happen if I just wait?
Then make an informed decision about what is best for you 🙏

You don't know what you don't know and when maternity services don't have the time to go through ALL the choices you have at each step of the way, you need to do some research....
✨ The KG Hypnobirthing course teaches parents:
🌸 The physiology of birth; how your baby develops and the processes that your body goes through to give birth.
... 🌸 Your options. What is an induction, a cesarean birth, places to give birth, who will support me etc. What do these involve, what are the risks and benefits and how to discuss these with your caregivers to ensure that you choose the options that are right for you.
🌸 How to focus on the best birth for you. You will learn how to deeply relax, listen to your intuition and prepare for the most positive bith experience for you... and how to adapt your plans to changing circumstances.
