Good value for money, bit rough around the edges could do with updating a bit. Not sure it should of be called a beer festival, the barman definitely needs to learn about the ales! Food from caf awful but the place had a very homely feel about it and loved the animals!
Lovely place bit lively at night but what do expect clean tidy and will defently be returning

Our first ever caravan holiday after buying our tourer.
Warden so helpful helping us set up especially the awning.
We stayed in May so quiet great with a toddler he loved the animals.
Facilities were clean.
Safe for him to run around.
This a great campsite. August bank holiday weekend was very busy, as you'd expect, and perhaps the facilities don't quite match the capacity of the site. Also, it's a well established site and the showers/toilets etc are a little tired and would benefit from some updating (and installation of a proper toilet block instead of a temporary building)
Some reviews have given the impression that this site is tatty, which I feel is rather unfair. It is clearly an old established site, which shows in some of the fixtures and fittings, but it does not suffer for this. It is clean and obviously well run, and for us with two very young children it has proved to be excellent. The park is huge, with lots of pitches for tents, caravans and motor homes, both grass and hard standing. There are wide grassy spaces as well as a good number of trees and a small wood or copse. There are also a number of animal enclosures, with llamas (I think!) goats and even chipmunks! Two decent children's playgrounds are well used, and there are two clubs/bars, one of which allows children in. The take away food outlet is located next to the excellent heated outshot swimming pool, which both our children loved. The shop is well stocked and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's the type of site that you really don't have to leave, but should you wish to there are some lovely towns locally. Also, the Pearl Dragon Chinese restaurant in Wem delivers to the site, which was very useful for us at 9pm on our first night. All in all, a lovely family site which we will certainly visit again.
Went to look at motor homes for ssle. Great selection. Site looked nice and peaceful. Countryside setting. I saw goats and chipmunks on the site. Didn't look around though as only went to see motor homes.
Well run site. excellent toilet blocks. Perhaps a little expensive for a single tent. Wem is great to visit about a mile up the road.
Lovely site , have been there 3 times. Would go there many more times if only you could take dogs into the bar ,
Love it there. Lovely scenery Great staff, lovely animals and a great adult club
