Lower Micklin Touring Park

Lovely little camp site. Very clean toilet and shower facilities, best I have seen. Very quiet apart from farm animals. Has a little play area. We have visited quite a few times for when we visit Alton towers which is only about a 10 min drive away.

Good site. Suffers from the rain a fair bit making grassy arras muddy. Looks like they are expanding too.

We have stayed here 3 times and each time it has been perfect. New to camping as an adult this site feels secure and is gorgeous. The owners are very welcoming. Can not fault the site at all. Great shower and toilet facilities i love the idea thatyou can mop up and wipe down the bathrooms to keep it perfect. great pitches with electric. Washing up sink. Freezer for visitors use. Rubbish bins available for glass and general waste. Several taps near the pitches with drinking water. Theres lots of local information displayed for food and local sites. The area itself is realy lovely. Sheep onsite and of course Oscar the dog!
They are making improvements and i look forward to visiting in near future.

Very nice site clean toilets excellent showers. Safe for kids as has a number lock barrier . Only 2.3 miles from Alton towers.

Lovely friendly campsite. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Nature lovers will enjoy the roaming chickens and the sheep in the fields on site. Oscar the dog will be your best friend in exchange for throwing his ball. Nice walks in the surrounding countryside with some friendly animal encounters likely. If you're planning to visit Alton Towers then pitching up at this site will certainly not disappoint.

We stayed here in July 2016 whilst visiting Alton Towers. Is was great! So close to Alton Towers. The facilities were good. Shower and toilet areas very clean. Quiet at night time but as a family we didn't mind this as we were exhausted from our busy days. Would definitely use this caravan park again!

Very quiet and fairly sheltered, with a decent toilet and shower block. Close enough to Alton Towers to go there in the day, although also required a drive to get to a supermarket or bar.
