Very clean shower blocks and pleasant staff enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place by beautiful nature and the staff are kind. I had a great time going by the lake and walking around the woods bit. There is a outdoor park for the kids along with a small building with a couple of arcade machines. The food is great and is nice and peaceful at night!
Here are a few pictures I took of the nature.

This is an excellent caravan park beautifully kept. It has a bar/restsurant and takeaway. There is a very well stocked grocery store which sells most of what you would generally need other than just food it also sells newspapers.
There is a network of pathways and two childrens play areas. There is a beautiful river at the bottom of the site there are many ducks.....nice for the children to feed (food at the shop).
There are quite a few areas where the bins are dotted.
For those with tourers there is a very good shower block.
Nearby you have The Beehive known to do good food and across the road a pub which does Thai dishes. Penrith is a 10 minute drive and if you park in Sainsburys you have 3 hours free parking. Penrith is a lovely town with a mixed variety of shops and lots of eateries. The leisure centre is near Sainsburys which is good for swimming if you have children.

We've been coming here since camping in 2010. We had our tourer here for a few years & are now thoroughly enjoying our static at Lowther Holiday Park! A beautiful site along the River Lowther. Highly recommended! Great on site shop, games room & parks for the family, pub & fab location xx

Lovely, green and well maintained park. Stayed on the touring area sited amongst mature trees so some pitches a little uneven (take levellers) but this adds to the overall rustic charm.
Toilet blocks large and clean.
On-site facilities excellent and include multiple playgrounds, well-stacked shop, games room and a restaurant/bar with good food and choice of real ales (at least at weekends).
We walked to Lowther Castle (about an hour from site). This is an amazing place which is quickly being restored after lying derelict for many years. Kids of all ages love the new castle-themed adventure playground and the various rope swings scattered amongst the woods. Tea room and gift shop worth visiting too.
We returned via the village of Askham, a lovely laid-back place with some impressive buildings including the magnificent Askham Hall (hotel). The village also boasts 2 inns, a cafe (although often closed on Saturdays to cater for weddings at the Hall) and an outdoor pool.
Will definitely visit again soon.
