Sat 16th march. Winter league final round. Sponsered by Burt Baits & TH floats.
With the league already won by kev parkes 2nd spot was still up for grabs down to 8th place. Conditions can only be described as hurrendous with gale force winds and rain all day and considering that its fished ok.
... Section 1 was won by dale hancock on p7 catching a mixed bag on bomb and bubble weighing in 36-11. Section 2 and the match was won by chris smith from peg 15 catching 1 carp around 3lbs then all silvers for 56-1 Only a couple of fish seperated the top 4 in section 3, coming out on top was dave tomlinson with 42-4.

Well done all in probably the worst conditions through out the league even though not the coldest.
Well done to kev parkes on winning the league and also winning the prize for the highest overall weight with 493-11 which probably 3/4 of his weight has been silvers. The biggest winning weight prize went to guru dave winning the 3rd match back in november with 95-3.
League 1st kev parkes 14 pts 2nd chris smith 15 pts 3rd dale hancock 16 pts 4th mark kettle 17 pts 5th guru dave 18 pts.
The league has yet again been successfull and everyone has enjoyed it catching fish on all matches and loads of silvers and carp have shown.

The league will be run again next winter for the 11th year on the trott.
