LSA have recieved lots of lovely messages today thanking us for helping their children with their Fathers Day cards, pictures, questionnaires and Sunflowers in pots individually created 🌻 We cant wait to see photos of these growing and how tall they get 😊 Steve has enjoyed a very special Father's Day also, we hope it's been a lovely day for everyone xx

LSA have enjoyed the last few weeks especially looking at Easter, attending Easter services, watching children perform in wonderful school plays alongside visits to the seaside, fun playareas and farms and lots more 😊 We have enjoyed lots of fun times including making dens, dressing up and getting our holiday bears ready to go away with us alongside drawing, chalking, and fun games with both the younger children and older children, lots of fun for sure xx

Aww LSA have received lots of lovely thankyou messages today for the lovely gifts and cards the children created for their mums for Mothers Day today 😊 Some of the older children also completed questionnaires about their mums which was lovely for their mums to read 🌟 xx

A fantastic few weeks at LSA has the children have enjoyed learning about time, colour recognition and mixing colours alongside looking at forces within our play and lots more 😊 We have been to the local farm and seen lambs just born, had fantastic walks and drew pictures of what they could see around them alongside doing some tree rubbings which was lots of fun 😊 Alongside our usual groups and activities we've enjoyed World Book Day, St David's Day and St Patrick's day 🌈 A fun time for sure xx

LSA had a wonderful time raising money for Comic Relief Alongside a red nose day picnic and disco we played stick the red nose on Mr Tumble and created our very own Red Nose Cress Heads whilst our families got involved in a fun Red Nose Day Cupcake sweepstake Together we raised £40 thankyou everyone 😊

An amazing last few days of the Half Term has we enjoyed a fantastic sensory sension incorp a wonderful projection of moving images and sounds as we created objects that moved, and explored different sensory materials together 😊 We also visited the RSPCA and met some of the animals they have rescued and learnt about their funding pressures with recently having to close the kennels until more money is raised to rebuild them to meet dogs needs better, we painted bird houses, va...lentine hearts and made some fantastic bird feeders also And our last day we visited an amazing nature reserve has we explored the countryside, scarecrows, dug for worms, found lots of burrows from various animals, heard a woodpecker, looked at a variety of hibernation dens and lots more, was fantastic Alongside all of this we have enjoyed special lunches in cafes and fun picnics outside, a wonderful half term 😊xx

The first few days of Half Term LSA enjoyed visiting a local Chinese Supermarket shopping for Chinese foods to try for tea in some new Chinese dishes they bought and they also all enjoyed trying to eat with chopsticks 😊 Tea was served on their very own personalised Chinese placemats which they coloured themselves 😊 We also went to a fantastic theatre show called The Giant Jam sandwich which was fun and interactive throughout and incorparted lots of fun songs that got us all singing away 🎵 We have also enjoyed puppet shows and dressing up including the dolls, lots of fun xx

Last week was a wonderful week at LSA ⭐ Alongside a fun ⚽ session, dance class, sensory fun, a visit to the park and animal centre and the library we enjoyed lots of fun creative valentines sessions which incorparted learning about this special time, painting, scissor practice, peeling stickers and lots more ❤️ Alongside all of this we have had lots of fun playing, singing, enjoying stories and even decorating our own Gingerbread Men from our story which all the children loved with their milk 🥛 A fantastic week xx

LSA have enjoyed a wonderful few weeks including playing & exploring the ❄️🌨️ Fun active football sessions, a new dance class and also lots of sensory fun sessions We have been learning more about been healthy and what that means as we help prepare our own snacks & drinks 🍉🍌🥛 We had lots of fun using the computer, visiting the library and singing songs to learn about The Lunar Moon 🌘 Alongside this the older children have especially enjoyed playing fun board games together an...d using the computer to continue fun maths work from school and to research artists like Vincent Van Gogh as they created their own mini masterpieces 🎨 We have enjoyed fun games & activities relating to 🕝 and number and colour recognition alongside lots of fun playing including dressing up, looking at books and we have also started to look at Chinese New Year which continues for 2 weeks with activities including fun teddy bear Chinese picnics, painting lucky red envelopes with chopsticks, tasting Chinese food and lots more A really fun few weeks for sure 😊

A lovely first week back at LSA after the Christmas holiday 😊 We have enjoyed visits to the library, a new dance class, sensory rooms, our regular playgroups alongside lots of fun at the setting including creating with stencils and reflecting back on Christmas during fun calendar and reflection times. We have especially enjoyed looking back at transport and how trains and aeroplanes work and fun interactive music times with different coloured textured materials singing action songs like row your boat, incy spider, head shoulders and lots more 🎼 and we finished the week with a fun visit to the lego event learning about history through lego whilst also creating our own masterpieces 😊 a lovely week xx

The last two weeks we have been learning about Poppy Day and Children in Need and Pudsey Bear alongside visits to playgroups, exploring around us outside relating to weather and animals and lots more, Thankyou to all our families who have fully supported us and our boys as our aunt (nanny) sadly passed away last week, she was a very important part of our life and some of the children knew her also and the messages of support, cards, flowers and candles some of the children lit at home for her means so much to us all Xxx

Half Term, Halloween and Bonfire Night was lots of fun at LSA including apple dunking, making Halloween mummies, chocolate witches, toffee apples, a fun circus day and bonfire crafts session at the RSPCA and lots more fun alongside fun discos, dressing up and lots of painting & arts and crafts 🔥🎃🖌️🎨 xx

Exciting week ahead 🎃

A fantastic week at LSA as we have looked at the colour pink and what colours we need to mix to make it 🎨 We have also looked at different types of Transport incorporating dance, play, and looking at books together 🚲 🚜 Alongside this we have looked at Fire and Road Safety using the computer and singing and dancing which was lots of fun 🚒 We have continued doing jigsaws but also had great fun playing a variety of board games, building with bricks, lots of colouring, playing with the toys and doing the calendar, phonics, alongside fun music and storytimes incorporating counting and recognition, mark making as the younger ones practice writing & recognising their names and the older children progress with reading and writing also ✍️ We have enjoyed going back to different playgroups and visiting the park, a really fun week 😊xx

A lovely first week back at LSA 😊 The children have especially enjoyed jigsaws and colouring this week alongside getting back into routines here and at school for the older children, We have lots of fun music times incorporating fun active play alongside calendar, phonics and storytimes incorporating counting and recognition, shapes, writing and mark making and lots lots more alongside playing dressing up and with the castle and cars and visits to the park, a really fun week 😊

LSA had a fantastic Summer 😎 We went to Eureka, John Bull Rock Factory, Wizard exploring days, Parks, farms, Museums, Art Gallery and lots more, alongside this we had football sessions, a visit from the Fire Brigade and lots of fun play at the setting both inside and outside including crafts, painting and making, den making, dressing up and lots lots more 😊 LSA then was closed for the last two weeks and reopened this week after really missing all the children 😊

What a lovely few weeks at LSA especially in the 😎 The children have loved creating with paints as we have been learning about mixing colours and painting animals and one littleone made a lovely canvas for his mummy & daddy's wedding, so special 😊 We have been learning more about different types of light alongside the weather and shadows and enjoyed using different resources to count and calculate with. We have looked at shapes on visits in the local area and even making them with our body's and incorporating shapes, colours and counting within our music times, sometimes alongside instruments which we loved exploring different sounds and rhythm. We have been learning about animals including guessing what animal we are talking about and pretending to be animals, lots of fun for sure 😊xx
