Lse Behavioural Lab For Teaching And Research Description

Welcome to Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics! The LSE is fast becoming the hotspot of behavioural science research in London. We have researchers in various departments working on topics like psychology, economics, marketing and organisational behaviour. Our students can take a variety of courses, ranging from the theoretical underpinnings of behavioural economic theory to applications to policy through field trials. As of 2014, the Departments of Social Policy and Management have joined forces to offer an Executive MSc in Behavioural Science.

We also organise seminar series by leading scientists in these fields, such as John List, George Loewenstein and Cass Sunstein (author of 'Nudge'). Many of these seminars are open to the public.

Finally, we have our state-of-the-art research facility, the Behavioural Lab for Teaching and Research (BL). The BL was established and is managed by the LSE Department of Management and is open to researchers and students from across LSE. This is where students and non-students can take part in exciting behavioural science experiments - it is located centrally on the Aldwych at a short walk from Holborn and Temple underground stations. If you want to participate, sign up on the BRL website: www. lse. ac. uk /brl
