Our chef is doing the finishing touches to the Christmas Menu.....HOWEVER we would like to know if there is something in particular you would like to see on the menu. Please leave any suggestions.

In 4 weeks Wicked is flying back into the Sunderland Empire. This is a massively popular theatre show. Reservations are coming in fast so please don't leave it until last minute to book your table or you may be disappointed.

The new signs are up at Luciano Bar & Bistro. Everything is looking AMAZING so far. The anticipation of local residents and everyone else is HUGE! Hopefully not to long to go now....

Today in America is National Cheesecake Day!! So if you are wanting an excuse to eat some then that is it (but who really needs an excuse when it comes to cakes) We have our delicious New York Cheesecake for £4.60

It has been sooooo warm and guess what we are sorting out....Christmas Menus!!!! BUT we all know it will come round very quickly (23 weeks tomorrow) and that work parties like to be booked in well in advance.

The game kicks off at 7pm.......our doors open at 5pm with Happy Hour available then you can head off in time to watch the football!

**TALL SHIP PARADE** Tomorrow the parade starts at 3pm....the photo shows the route they will be taking. We are open for lunch from 12-2pm then you could walk 2 minutes down the high street to watch what we expect to be a fantastic parade.

WOW!! What a game last night was....do we have many sore heads in Sunderland today? We will be open from 12 with some delicious home made Italian food that will make you all feel much better!!

Happy Thursday everyone!! We have used Pepsi draught for many years BUT NOW we have Coca-Cola and Diet Cola :D

We went on a very busy Friday night, but the service was very good despite this. We bought drinks at the bar & were shown to our table quite quickly. Good Menu & food quality food at reasonable prices, the drinks weren’t expensive either. We’ll definitely eat here again.

We usually go to Sunderland empire every year and this time to see Mamma Mia and always go to your restaurant after. As usual gorgeous food, great staff and good prices. Usually a bit cold and had to keep my coat on this time. What more can I say. Excellent xxx

We had a meal before the theatre on a Saturday night, really great fast and efficient service. The food was delicious and the staff were very pleasant and courteous. We will definitely be back again x

Lucianos is a Sunderland gem. I can always come here and know the whole experience will be flawless from start to finish.

We had booked a table for my daughters 12th birthday. The staff are absolute professionals. I didn't even have to explain I had bought a birthday cake for my daughter later, it was simply whisked away without her noticing.

My daughter spilled a drink everywhere but was never made to feel embarrassed and everything was dealt with calmly and efficiently.

It's a rare meal that all my family are happy with but the food is so good that there was only silence at the table! Fantastic for Mam to enjoy the wine . Everyone can be a flash in the pan but consistency is what counts, lucianos has that in spades.

Lovely restaurant and and excellent food. Highly recommend the garlic bread and mozzarella to start and Pollo Risotto for main! 👌

Lovely home cooked Italian cuisine. Always feels warm, welcoming and festive, one of my favourite restaurants. Excellent service and good prices....a little gem!

Lovely food, great service... liked the fact that the waiters were conscious of time as we were going to the theatre :-)

Had a lovely meal with family at lunch time. Food was beautiful. Only fault i can say is that the restaurant was very cold. Still enjoyed it though.

Had a beautiful meal. Even got the reciepe for the sauce reduction that accompanied the king prawns. Beautiful bottle of chianti. Will definitely be going again

Did not pre book, got seated after a few minutes. We were going to Theatre in the afternoon, tables all full in main area. Quick service when we summoned the waiter to take our order. Lovely food, excellent lime and soda too! We have been here before going to the Theatre as it is very close to it. Staff lovely too

Celebrated my hubby's 60th birthday here on Saturday with family. Attentive friendly staff and amazing food. One of our favourite places. Need to book seats early as room fills up pretty quickly . ♡

Best Italian food I have had since I visited Naples. Generous portions, reasonable prices good atmosphere and good service. The house red was lovely too.

Only our second visit prior to a show at the Empire. Disappointing service, and nobody bothered to see if we wanted another drink. Food was tasty though.

No chilled cider, white wine served in a warm, hollow tube. Charged for Pinot Grigio when we'd ordered House White.

Can not fault the food and service at all but the restaurant is always cold. I kept my coat on all through the meal which was uncomfortable, A little heating would be nice. Also I find when your finished your meal it’s quite obvious the staff want you to leave as soon as possible!
