When we got there we went outside. It was lovely it was just like being in Italy with the pergola and grapevine. The food was excellent will definitely be going back.

Went for my birthday meal last night. Always heard great things about Luigis and have been meaning to go for years.

We were not disappointed. Great food and lovely staff. It also made my day when they brought out ice cream with a candle while playing "Happy Birthday" I'm 27 now and that was the only point in my day when it felt like my birthday so Thank You, will definitely be back.

We have been here a few times, I love it ! the food is lovely, the staff are friendly,the service can be slow sometimes! But we don't mind we just have a drink! Will be back soon�

We had a family meal here last night to celebrate a 21st, the food was great! The staff were just amazing, they looked after us all so well and made it a really fantastic night!

Not visited for some time my being away from area, Sunday18th had meal with old friends meeting again after many years. It was good in every aspect. Took pizza crusts home for an old (very)pet rabbit Domino2, she gave 100% approval and ate the lot! Will visit very shortly for the good service, food, ambience and an easy accessible location for a family or business meet on the northern outer ring road A59 Harrogate turn off. Owned by a long standing member of the York food Italian elite since the mid eighties who first introduced me to Italian food in the city.(pub English food was never the same!) Recommend to visit soon.

Had a fantastic time at Luigis yesterday celebrating my mums 70th birthday! We had a table of 22 and nothing was a bother. Fantastic food and good service. The staff were great, made us really welcome and even helped looking after my restless 1yr old, walking her up and down the restaurant. Hope to be back soon :-)

Great friendly service. We had two starters and mains. Mains were ok. Starters we're phenomenal. Can highly recommend the pate! Homemade and fresh with great seasoning.

First time I've ever been. We were a family party celebrating my son's 16th. The food was fab, large pizzas that we couldn't finish, that we had to ask for a doggy bag! The staff were very efficient & friendly and all came together to sing happy birthday when they bought my sons cake out.

Can't wait to visit again�

Dropped in with no reservation, happily found us a table. Friendly staff and lovely meals. Didn't feel rushed like some restaurants we've been to. Thank you.

A birthday meal out for a party of seven (5 adults & 2 young children). Great food, pleasant atmosphere, value for money & attentitive friendly staff.

50th birthday meal & Great service, gluten free option great apart from breakdown of the pizza oven so no garlic bread etc. 10%off bill though & a voucher for next time can't fault staff 👍

It was too busy not enough staff..had to wait ages for food no one seemd to be designated to any area so you either got attention from everyone or no one at all there was no organisation..my starter was flavourless but my main to be fair was nice although more mussels were not open than were which was disappointing there was 8 of us there & all thought was very average....a tad disappointing

Really disappointed, booked a table told them it was a special event when we arrived table wasn't ready when we were finally taken to our table we weren't shown a drinks menu or a food menu , we ordered food and when the mains came we had to wait a while for veg and potatoes, ordered wine and drinks when it came we were practically finished our main meal and still had to wait for wine glasses.

Overall not a great experience

Was really disappointed with everything. Service was bad, new staff who didn't understand and brought the wrong food out. Took my plate away before I had finished. The steak that is normally the best i've every had to be so bad With the wrong sauce. It was my husband's 30th birthday and was really looking forward to having a lovely meal and it was horrendous. So sad it's gone down hill so much.

It’s been a while since we were last here and we won’t be rushing back. Hardly any seafood in my pasta, pizza nearly cold. Service extremely slow. Drinks ridiculously expensive.
