I know the joy and heartbreak of professional sport from the highest level in World Cups through to the struggle to come back from injury and the desolation of defeat.
The team dynamic is something I have studied from within, my acquired knowledge is through higher education in both sport and business.
With a personal back story, growing up in one of the toughest districts in Calderdale is one of overcoming setback, which there has been many, of learning to appreciate and understand goal setting, of building trust and coping strategies.
Having been an entrepreneur for eight years, I understand the business imperative and the dynamic of and need for a highly charged and motivated work force.
The core of my work, which has been undertaken for various health services, major organisations and local authorities, is about delivering perspective.
It is also applicable to one-on-one sessions with impressionable and disadvantaged 16-24 year olds, together with workshops focused on physical fitness, overall well being and improving mental health; building self-belief, confidence, reasoned motivation and greater self-esteem.
It is about finding a sense of purpose and enhancing communication skills applicable in any arena, of teaching the necessary tools to engage with society more constructively and productively.

WE MADE IT 😊
We left home yesterday at 12:30 in the afternoon in our little camper van...

Road trip to French Alpes 🤪
ROAD TRIP
Just cleaned out the van ready for our big road trip...
Excited but nervous...
... Drive with my pal and 2 kids to Ferry to get across to Europe tomorrow night, park up and sleep.
Then it’s a big drive to Switzerland - sleep near lake Geneva and then await the missus and baby!
Then it’s down to the French Alpes...
Where to?
We have some ideas - nothing concrete but guess that’s the beauty of having a camper van 😊
Couple days sledging and then head back towards UK and stop off where we like the look of...
