Lulu & Charles Jewellery

At Lulu & Charles we create a range of handmade jewellery. We also create bespoke and personalised jewellery all made in our workshop in County Durham.

The LuLu & Charles brand was set up by husband and wife team Ashley & Jayne Turner.

Jayne is daughter of a classically trained & time served goldsmith who followed her creative passion by studying at the prestigious Fashion & Textiles programme at Northumbria University. Having gained a 1st class B. A. (hons) degree, Jayne went on to work in the fashion industry as a textiles designer specializing in surface pattern & embellishment. Her designs have been sold across the industry from high street to high fashion.

Meanwhile, Ashley has worked in the Jewellery trade for over 15 years, employed by Jayne's father, Stephen- which is how the pair met. With three young sons of their own & combining technical skills with an eye for design, the duo create unique & symbolic jewellery. Each piece is hand made as part of a range or individually custom made- a bespoke piece to treasure forever & created in their Consett studio & workshop.
