Went to lumbini in Uxbridge for the first time last night for a friend's birthday. I dropped a cake in before the rest of the party arrived and said we would all be back in half an hour. When we returned the staff had dressed our table with banners and confetti and I was overwhelmed that they had took it upon themselves to go that extra mile to make it so special. The food was amazing the staff were fantastic and I can't believe this gem has been sitting on my doorstep all these years and I've only just discovered it. Thank you so much for the most amazing night. Will see you all again very soon x

I visited this restaurant with my family who spoke highly of it and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The food was so delicious and authentic and the great thing was they're quite flexible in how mild or spicy you would like a certain dish. Anything you don't see on the menu they will try their best to cook it for you. Lovely ambience and friendly staff. I will definitely be going back.

Great restaurant, amazing food, kind and helpful staff! Held a Diwali Party there for 40 people, they couldn't be more accommodating and the food just kept coming! Will definitely organise another party there. And of course use the restaurant.

Great Nepalese food even if they think goat is poultry on the menu lol been many times fab food fab service and fab beer.... go for the Nepalese beer knocks spots off cobra .. can't wait for next time

Amazing food, excellent service , happy friendly staff, had my sons 18th party here and he loved it! My favourite restaurant of 2016!

Went after work with colleagues and we all found it very favourable with tasty food, attentive staff who our starters which we all enjoyed. We then chose our own mains which we shared and it lent to a successful evening out. We would definitely recommend Lumbini and will go again.�

Food was excellent. Couldn't tell if the head waiter has a very dry sense of humor and never cracked a smile or was genuinely a jerk, but the young guy who waited on us was very personable and professional

We were there on a Saturday evening. Food is of high standard and very tasty.



However service is very slow. We sat for ages before our order was taken. Then sat for ages with empty glasses and we could not catch anyone's eye so we asked for the bill without having anything else.

Food � is great , but the service is a bit awful, the waiters are not friendly not all but the senior one . If they improve the standards of service it will be a great place !!!!

Sooo. Booked for 8pm on a saturday. Come 8.30 we had been sat for 30mjns and no offer of any drinks. Had to ask for a food menu also. And asked for drinks twice before we got em.

No doms were offered.

We counted 11 staff yet felt like there was only one.

We asked if someone would take our order but got mumbled at and still no one to take our order.

We had to ask for a manager as we was about to leave. THEN the manager took our order and got the starters out pretty quick.

Mains later and we had to ask for napkins as non on the table.

Food was mediocre. Ive had better takeouts ie chilli on cowley road for one.

Price was reasonable though.

What a difference chef can make? Horrible experience main course was not edible at all. We had mix grill for starter which was brilliant but main course Goat, chicken and aubergine dishes were one of the worse I have ever tried. Felt let down in front of guest. Food Killed our evening and appetite.
