Today would have marked the return of our award-winning Harry Potter trip to Alnwick Castle and Town. We can’t wait to bring visitors to our fantastic region when we are able to ☺️

Appreciation Post:
I want to give a massive thank you to our intern Caroline Roberge. She has worked very hard this semester to help Lundgren Tours deliver trips, provide social events and promote the business to our fantastic international student community in Newcastle. Not only that but I consider her a great friend and I know she’ll go far in life!
Unfortunately due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Caroline had to return to France last week. We hope to see her again soon when this all blows over. Many thanks again from the Lundgren Tours team 😃☺️🎉

Just a little positivity to end our tours programme (for now) 😊 We would point out that we’ve had some very favourable reviews from visitors to the region too who include families. Even though the core of our business is the student population in Newcastle and Durham, our tour offer is open to everyone. We truly hope that we are able resume operations in the not too distant future. In the meantime, stay safe everyone at this most difficult of times!

I regret to inform everyone that Lundgren Tours will be cancelling all coach trips occurring between now and the 30th June. This is due to the UK Government’s guidance announced yesterday afternoon in response to the outbreak and increasing spread of the COVID-19 virus, emphasising a desire to increase social distancing and stop all unnecessary travel.
The quote from the PM’s speech below refers:
“now is the time for everyone to stop non-essential contact with others and to ...stop all unnecessary travel.”
As a Travel Tourism company, Lundgren Tours must accept responsibility for slowing the spread of the virus and protecting both our customers and people that our customers may have come into contact with during our trips. We also urge everyone to follow the advice provided by Public Health England and the UK Government.
We will of course be providing full refunds for those who have purchased tickets for any of our trips that will now be cancelled. Due to the refund policy of our payment provider, it may take up to 10 working days for the money to be credited back to our customers’ bank/card statement.
We will be prioritising the issue of refunds for customers who have purchased tickets for our trip to Hadrian’s Wall this Saturday. We thank our customers for their patience in this uncertain time.
We want to thank all of our customers and partners for supporting our business and we want to assure everyone that Lundgren Tours will be back and better than ever as soon as we are able. Stay safe everyone!
