The interest in our Wigan to Pyongyang tour was so great that the tour sold out in less than 2 weeks! We've now added a second departure for September 2020. This time we start the journey in nearby Atherton. We're very happy to announce that we are now the official training sponsors of Atherton Collieries A.F.C! ⚽️
Based in Greater Manchester, 8 miles from Wigan; Atherton Collieries AFC were formed as a football team in 1916 by the 6 pits in the town, as a way of raising funds for the locals involved in WW1.
Last season they were promoted as Champions to reach the Northern Premier League (tier 7 in the English football pyramid!), their highest ever level.
... We have a lot of ideas in place for the coming season including link ups with North Korean teams and some interesting thoughts on potential pre-season tours for next year!
Once the fixtures for this season are released we'll be announcing a reunion weekend for our clients where we'll all head to Atherton to see a game before heading for a pub crawl afterwards ⚽️🍻🥴
Also, we've long been asked when we are planning to start selling Lupine t-shirts - well as of next month we'll have Atherton Collieries football shirts for sale with our logo emblazoned across the front 👍

Today is World Turtle Day by the non-profit organisation, American Tortoise Rescue! 🐢
Between 1937 and 1951, five Galápagos giant tortoises were brought to Pitcairn Island, and today only one remains!
