*****Sea Baths closed Sunday 26 August*****
With the very strong winds forecast for tomorrow we have decided to give advance notice that we will not be opening the site at all.
Strong winds can lift the inflatables thereby causing safety issues for users. We are therefore deflating them and weighing them down when we close tonight. There are also risks with furniture being blown about.
... We will open at 10am on Monday 27th August as usual.
Thank you for your understanding.

*****Wednesday 8th August*****
All online tickets for today have been sold so we have very limited availability for tickets on sale at the kiosk. If you do not have a pre-booked ticket, our advice is to visit us after 2pm when there is usually space.
Thank you!

******Tuesday 7th August******

We're fully open again after the weekend's storms and it seems the weather is warming up again this week 😎😎 so we expect we'll be busy.
If you are planning on visiting us during the holidays, we recommend buying your tickets online. This will guarantee you entry over those who buy "on the day".
We look forward to seeing you soon!

*****HIGH WINDS - SEA BATHS SHUT 28 & 29 JULY*****
Due to the high winds forecast today and tomorrow the Sea Baths will be shut until 10am on Monday 30th July. There have been some fatal incidents with inflatables in high wind and today's winds are forecast at around 50mph. We are letting the inflatables down now and will re-open once this weather system has passed. Thank you for your understanding.
All pre-paid tickets can be transferred to another date (just bring your tick...et code to the kiosk when you visit) or can be refunded in full. Please email if you would prefer a refund.
Please share this post if relevant. Thank you.

THURSDAY 26 JULY
We are experiencing very high demand and expect to be at full capacity by 12 noon. If you have not already bought a ticket online, we’d suggest postponing your visit to us. Thank you for your understanding.
Please also bear in mind the numerous warnings of high temperatures and high UV levels. We have very little shade on site. During the extreme weather we will happily refill any water bottles at our kiosk for pool visitors and walkers. Thank you.

User

A few have queried why we've not opened earlier than 3pm this week. The reason is we have local schools who book us for their activities week. We are however able to open at 12 noon on FRIDAY 29th JUNE. Please share if relevant - we know there are a few schools with inset days. Thank you!

User

Radio Solent came to see us last weekend when we opened....the air and water temperature were both only 9 degrees! 😱 Thankfully both are warming up for the Bank Holiday 😎 You can listen to the programme and interviews here. We hope to see you soon!

Tuesday 1st May
With the strong winds forecast this afternoon & overnight and then heavy rain tomorrow, the Sea Baths will reopen on Thursday 3rd May at 3pm. The kiosk will remain open as usual.
We hope by Thursday, Mother Nature will have got over her ongoing sense of humour failure and allow us to operate normally from then on!
... Thank you for your understanding.

What a fantastic day out we had ! Very well priced admission. We spent all day here . Cafe v reasonable. Great for smaller kids / non swimmers as the water is fairly

Shallow. Bit Stoney under foot so take some sea shoes . Friendly helpful staff and plenty of lifeguards on hand . *******

User

Really good day out , and reasonable , parking was a bit of an issue , and maybe could of done with more seating but apart from that it was good highly recommend it !!

User

User

Myself and 3 year old loved it here. Fun for all the family! Highly recommend taking water shoes along :)

User

I think it was a lot of fun...There was a large option of thinks to do there and great prices. They also had a lot of different food at the parlour e.g. Crisps, chocolate, ice cream, chips,

Burgers and lollies. But also the weather was great.I would definitely go again and I recommend it to children and adults from all ages.

User

Great value for money. Only one place to get food and drinks so would recommend taking a big picnic and spending the whole day down there

User

Great place to spend a day. Lots to do, price is fairly reasonable at £7.00 for a swimmer and £2.50 for a spectator. Food is reasonably priced but you can also take your own if you like. Could do with more loungers but if you have your own you can bring them. We come every year and seen the improvements most recently toilets and changing rooms have been revamped. Will be back

User

Great place for all the family and what's nice is there no hidden costs for the float aids for little ones once u are in. Life guards are great and always looking out for safety and fun at the same time. Happily spend the whole day there. We love it there

User

Great place for a fun family day out. Cheap food and drinks or take your own, loads to do and easy to get to by public transport.

User

Great facility - we visited on a warm, sunny day and were pleasantly surprised at the temperature of the water. The obstacle course was great fun - haven't laughed so much in ages. Thanks very much for a fun afternoon.

User

Great day here. Something for all ages. Lifeguards are very good. Really good value for money day out.

User

Fantastic location, accessible carpark near by. Lot of inflatables and things to do, reasonably priced. Plenty of loungers & chairs. Small food selling hot snacks chips, burgers etc, cold & hot drinks and ice cream. Great place will definitely plan a return visit.

User

Fantastic day out for the whole family! Amazing value for money, well managed, friendly safety conscious staff and great fun to top it off! Don't have a bad thing to say!

User

Brilliant fun....all five of our kids aged 8 to 16 really enjoyed themselves!

User

Brilliant day, all the kids had fun, as did the adults. It was very crowded on poolside as expected given the hot Sunday afternoon, but manageable.

Toilet and changing facilities were surprisingly clean even towards the late afternoon. Will definitely come back.

User

Another amazing day thank you. kids had so much fun

User

1st visit with daughter and 2 grandsons. £16.50 for all of us. Next time will take own wetsuits for boys but can be hired. Take your own food. Only fast food and drinks available in cafe, but great ice cream. Will take something softer to lie on loungers as well. Shallow water one end of pool separate from inflatables but with there own smaller ones for under 8s. Great time had by all. Will be back soon

User

I would say 8 year old kids and over would love it. My grandkids love it didn't want to leave. Fare price for entry. We were there half the day. 1 till 5 great fun had. Hot drinks and some hot food. Do take sun cream. Can get busy

User

Great location plenty to do in the general area once finished at the sea pool. Chargeable council car park near by. Lots of inflatables to suit all ages. Pool fairly shallow. Has stones on the bottom of pool so take old pair of shoes or your feet may hurt. Small baby pool & sand pit. Free use of shower, changing rooms and life vest for non swimmers. Tables, parasols & chairs free to use. Sunbed cost £2 all day. Small kiosk selling drinks & ice creams. No food that I saw. Entry just for swimming only a few pounds less than £5 depends on time of year. Extra few pounds to use inflatables and zorbing and paddle boarding ECT. But a nice family day out. We took a picnic and drinks there was no issue with that. The sea pool gets very busy after 2pm with school children. We had 4 large groups arrive and found it hard to use inflatables. I would suggest arriving at 10am when it opens. Take plenty of suncream as no real shade.
