You have to think how they want for your exams...but don't let the rigid guidelines restrict your thinking in anything else. Be scientists, not simply people who are good at getting good grades ;) Good luck this exam season!
Amazing artist who creates loads of youtube videos about a level biology topics...check this one out for a beautiful example!
If anyone's struggling to remember the reaction conditions for all the OCR A organic chemistry, here's a game to help you remember them!
I got a phone call from a student on my home phone, but her mobile number didn't work - if it was you please drop me another line, I stupidly deleted the message!
A level biologists!
Khan academy is a really useful site full of videos on a myriad of topics; it focuses on maths from a very basic level right up to much more complex concepts, but there is also a good bank of videos explaining some really hard topics in Biology (as the link shows) Chemistry and Physics - give it a look, it's an amazing experiment in social education! https://www.khanacademy.org/science/biolo gy
http://www.youtube.com/watch… Oh my God...it's steampunk magnetism!
Physics students! I hope you're watching Brian Cox's wonders of life! He's doing GCSE physics, transformation of energy, work etc! catch it on iplayer :)
http://bcs.whfreeman.com/thelifewire8e/de fault.asp A free online textbook with animations and videos - amazing resource! Mostly biology A level but I've used some of these resources for IGCSE and GCSE biology and chemistry!
just...epic!

generators, electomagnetic induction and power stations. Really great for a lot of core physics GCSE
considering making some very simple videos (involving, like, my webcam and me drawing stuff on a whiteboard! seriously simple!) to stick on youtube for my students to use for revision - does anyone have any suggestions of topics they need help with? Any areas of science.
Good for GCSE, at an introductory level, though you don't have to know the definition of evolution like this. the man's voice is a bit...exhausting...but still quite useful
outstanding explanation of quite a difficult concept! Probably aimed more towards A level, but GCSE students take a look as well :)
http://www.birdandmoon.com/secreteweapon. html "my hero" - aww!
For anyone who's doing A2 biology - it's a bit early in the year to be fair, but at some point you'll be studying the brain and this explains things very nicely :)
