Springtime Boiler Checks
-Check external elements like pipes and valves for mildew, cracks or rusting because of moisture.
-Make sure the pressure gauge is at appropriate levels (1-1.5 bar). If not, you will have to adjust that yourself or have a professional fix it for you!
... -Check for unusual noise like rattling, knocking or clicking etc. Do this while heating the house, running hot water and also whilst turning your boiler on and off.
If you have any doubts at all, call in a professional!

For this Kitchen remodel in Cricklewood, we went for full units along one side to maximize the flow of the room. We also put a false wall with pocket sliding doors, between the kitchen and conservatory. Irregular varying depths of tall units (due to chimney breasts & pillars) were concealed to give it a streamlined look. Finally, this Karndean Designflooring floor was fitted at a 45-degree angle to accentuate the length of the kitchen. Know your Boiler: Boiler Flue
A boiler flue is a pipe attached to the boiler allowing waste gases to safely leave the building. Have you seen black or white ducts sticking out of buildings, expelling gas? Those are flues!
The gases released by the flue, including carbon monoxide, are harmful and that is why the boiler flue regulations are getting stricter.
... When installing a new boiler, the flue has to be positioned a certain distance from any parts of the home that can be opened up such as windows and doors. This depends on your boiler size but is typically between 30-60cm above, below or to the side of any opening. It should be positioned away from any plastic gutters as well.

We had our extension done and to be honest I was a little worried about the kitchen. But Paul Johnson from LPS Kitchens did a fantastic job on our bespoke kitchen. He gave us exactly what we wanted- unique cabinets and to add life and colour to the whole white theme we have red accents. The colour choice that LPS offered was unbelievable. The insides of our cabinets are red. So things don’t get boring at all. Even when our builder messed up, Paul came back to make sure everything was executed smoothly. He left no stone unturned by visiting us regularly and looking after us. It is unbelievably good price considering the fact that it’s all bespoke and most importantly the girls are happy and that makes my life easy. Thank you very much Paul.

We had Gary and Paul do a big kitchen project that included taking a 10 m long kitchen out due to leaks, new floor with underheating and reinstall all cabinets. The kitchen came back perfect and tiling work is superb. Go straight to the best. We have had them repair poor work in our house many times. Highly recommended.
