You may have been aware of this already... and yet it can’t be stressed enough that learning another language is about SO much more than just being able to understand and making oneself understood....

It has been a lovely end of year here at l’École des Nuages!!
We hope you also had magical celebrations at home and it is now time to look ahead to a new year of French weekly classes, starting January 12th!
... We will enjoy all our favourite songs and activities along with brand new original ones, specially hand-picked or written to help even the youngest of learners to naturally assimilate and develop their knowledge of the French language. There is something for everyone, from babies to pre-school children up to 5.
Make learning French your little one’s 2019 new skill ! The exposure to an additional language has been proven to give under-5s a big boost in many other areas of their development.

Even though the French have had a difficult time with anything royal, we, on the other hand, had quite a lot of fun in our "wedding special" French class this morning.
Thank you to all those who braved the risk of not being back in time to see "the dress"....all in the name of language learning and their little one’s discovery of French. Vous êtes formidables! Sending you all some love (but probably not as much as Bishop Curry already has...) ❤️🇫🇷🇬🇧🇺🇸❤️

At l’École des Nuages we believe that skills like dexterity and concentration when creating a piece of work, should be encouraged very early on.
We love sticking, stamping and making specific marks and shapes - all related to the useful French vocabulary we introduce in our classes.
During these activities, even the younger ones are encouraged to use precision. They are shown how to achieve a good pencil grip, which strengthens their fingers and improves their hand-eye coordi...nation.
Last but not least, we know that children naturally take good pride in their work, so every little stamp, pen mark or sticker thoughtfully placed can lead to greater confidence and self-esteem!
