The White Bear Inn is a public house ideally located in the picturesque village of Barrowford, East Lancashire. It offers good, hearty meals at affordable prices and an extensive selection of delicious drinks, including great wines like Hardy's, great spirits like Captain Morgan's Rum and a whole host of beers and ciders! There's plenty on offer for our designated drivers out there including tasty J20s, refreshing Appletise and tangy tomato juice to name but a few!
The building itself offers onsite parking and commands a wonderful view of Barrowford Park just opposite, situated at the heart of this charming and vibrant community.
The White Bear Inn was constructed in the early 17th Century (although many believe it to have been around for about a hundred years earlier even than that! ) and allegedly takes its name from the savage sport of bear baiting which was popular back then and may well have taken place in the cobbled forecourt - now thankfully a beer garden!
This historic public house is now a proud member of the Stonegate Pub Company and its dedicated team look forward to your visit!
