About Macmillan Berkshire Cancer Rehabilitation

Helping people affected by cancer in Berkshire with physical, emotional and practical support

Macmillan Berkshire Cancer Rehabilitation Description

Have you had cancer and are nearing the end of or finished your treatment? Are you registered with a GP in Berkshire?

The Macmillan Berkshire Cancer Rehabilitation programme is a self-management approach towards living with and beyond cancer.

We are a Berkshire-based team and offer support to those who are registered with a GP in Berkshire and who are nearing or have come to the end of their treatment or are on long-term treatments.

We offer psychological, emotional, physical and social support as we understand that cancer can still have an effect on you long after your treatment has ended.

We provide self-management courses to allow you to take control and equip you with the tools needed to move on and reclaim your life.

We run Health and Wellbeing events and clinics organised by cancer rehab specialists with whom you will learn about support in your area as well as gain information available to help you learn how to live healthy lifestyles and how to make healthy life choices. This includes information on healthy eating, physical activity, complementary therapies, clinical psychology, relationship counselling, fatigue management, support groups etc.
