Would highly recommend this place. I took my 9 year old daughter as a treat. She had the Alice tea party. The staff were lovely, the attention to detail was fantastic the table was decorated with little stars. My daughter loved the tea cups that had been placed ready for us to arrive. Definitely would go again

Lovely tea room. Delicious food and incredible cakes. Great choice of food on the mnu and love all the tea options üëç excellent customer service. Baby changing facilities were perfect too!! Will be returning and recommending to friends. About to enjoy our takeaway cakes now. Thank you x

Booked to go and celebrate silver wedding anniversary at Mad Hatters after our daughter went and loved it. The table was set up with tea cup and matching tea plates with star confetti scattered across it. We were made very welcome and enjoyed delicious sandwiches (without onion as per my request). We then moved on to a great scone with jam and clotted cream. We found that we couldn’t manage to find room for the cakes provided so these were boxed up for us to take home. This was all washed down with a never ending cup of coffee. All delicious and in quirky interesting surroundings. Thanks to the efficient friendly staff. A great way to celebrate a special occasion.

Stumbled across the Mad Hatters on a very cold and wet day after seeing a few other tea rooms that we just were not drawn to.



We were seated quickly (table for 2) and to my satisfaction next to a warm radiator.



The decor is super quirky and the inside cosy.



Food; we both opted for soup of the day which was sweet potato and a sandwich deal. We paid extra to upgrade to coronation chicken and it was so worth it!



The soup was not seasoned but wasn't a problem as I seasoned to my liking but was nice to eat homemade soup. I thought the soup portion was a bit skinny but the sandwich filling was reasonable and the bread (I had brown) was delicious and super soft.



We were both quite full after this meal but after seeing the staff walking past with various temptations (cakes) and overhearing a guy on the next table order the 'lemon meringue and blueberry cheesecake' I was already sold!



We each ordered the 'lemon meringue and blueberry cheesecake' my god we were not disappointed! Whoever was responsible for that literally glittery creation needs to forget about bakeoff and think more nobel peace prize! That taste sensation would end wars!



All washed down with homemade cloudy lemonade and strawberry-ade.



Would recommend and would return.
