Only one week and one day till Danyle & Sam will be competing @ @thegroomingshow in the creative grooming section. Matt will also be attending as a spectator and all the hard work most of you have seen over the last 3 months will be revealed and put out there for judging! This is our first competition so we are very nervous but extremely excited at the same time! Can’t wait to share the results with you!

Tom, our apprentice is now taking on his own clientele! We are very impressed with his skill set and dedication so far and is becoming a much better developed groomed daily. He has been having lots of practice on our own dogs and very close clientele to date and is definitely ready to branch out to the next step. If you would be interested in giving Tom ago, wether your a client of the salons already or not, feel free to message or call us and we will be happy to help. And he’s a bargain whilst he trains 😝 get it whilst it lasts!

The gorgeous Banjo has his first grooming visit with us today and doesn’t he look just smashing! What a great first day back even if we were over fully booked and opened longer! We’ve missed having all your gorgeous dogs around!

Oh it’s great to be back at work!

Here’s a general guide to how long you should be bringing your dog in for a groom.
If you want to leave it longer please talk to us, it could quiet possibly need extra home care and a visit between for baths and brush outs. We aren’t against anyone going over the advised times we just like to make sure that they won’t become matted between visits and need to be shaved off.
... Remember we have apprentice slots which would be perfect for maintenance visits between grooms!

Had the best Christmas present come today! It’s hard to get a picture that does these justice but they say our brand on the top and a 19” paw print in frosted glass affect for the 3 main Windows! And a hand made reef for the day! Thank you to Matt, Kaye & the children they are epic and I’m sure our customers are going to love them as much as we do! & of course Brooklyn had to be in a picture 😍

Teri & Rox have been busy at work today re arranging the salon and getting it ready to re open on Saturday. Saturday is almost fully booked now but does have a few bath slots with our apprentice Tom which are discounted and we have a few slots left next week. We can’t wait to see you all 💕

We open back up on Saturday 5th January. We have one space left for a full groom with Danyle. We also have one bath and blow dry with Danyle. And lastly we have one more bath & blow dry (and possible de shed) with our apprentice Tom which has 25% discount whilst he’s training. For any of these slots please message the page or call the salon.

Well what a year has this been! Thank you to each and everyone of you on this page who has ever liked, shared or even visited our salons! Not long now till we’ve been open a year and it has just flown by. I still find it hard to believe all this happened from our back garden! 2018 saw us fly past our 2 year goal posts, expand into more than just grooming, employ over 5 new memebers of staff part time, promote Teri to our general manager full time and saw us become a limit...ed company! It’s beyond crazy what we have achieved so far and the plans for 2019 are even bigger and better! But for now we sign off to spend some much deserved time with our families over Christmas and some much needed time off. We are back open Saturday 5th January and will continue to reply to messages after 1st January 2019. And now all the important stuffs done it’s time for us all to kick back, have a drink, eats lots and generally be merry!

Missing Puppy & His Mum from Asterley so very close to the salon. Been gone a few hours now please share far and wide. He is very young and vulnerable and will be extremely tired by now. I have groomed him very recently and is a lovely little boy !

We still have a few slots left before Christmas 🎄 As we are shut on Wednesday for channel 4 visiting the salon we are slightly extending our hours and working until Sunday next week so we can fit you all in before 🎅 arrives!

Rox-Anne’s face when her puppies miss behave is the funniest thing I think 😂 These guys are my pride and joy and even after they have left I like to keep in touch with everyone and visit everyone local. Gary Steinert Photography took these pictures in our salon. I will upload the rest tomorrow but I’m a very proud owner, trainee & breeder right now!

Hi everyone! Small announcement that needs to be made. After today MaD’s Country Groomers will be owned and managed by MaD’s Country Services Limited. Danyle is still the owner and I will now be the managing director going forward. We have no plans to change anything and business will continue as always but I just wanted to let everyone know as I’m not a sole trader anymore. ... Our certificate with our companies house number will be framed and on the wall tomorrow for all to see. Any questions please feel free to ask !! Thank you again all for your continued support without it we wouldn’t be where we are now!

We are expanding again! In the next week we will be opening MaD’s Country Equestrian Care! Whilst this is extremely exciting we have also promoted one of our current dog walkers Emma Stevenson to Equestrian Care Manager. Emma has an extensive knowledge of horses and horse care and even has her own Shetland pony Jack who I’m sure will make an appearance on the Equestrian page. Once our logo is finished I will share the page with you all! ... She has also secured her first booking and is ready and raring to get going! Congratulations Emma !

Wow! Not only do my pooches look and smell fantastic but they were amazingly relaxed when I picked them up. I'm utterly delighted as my girl can be quite anxious. She even let Danyle brush her teeth. Big thumbs up around. Both fast asleep now on the kitchen floor.

Very friendly service from dan and Matt. Roxy and sky loved their 1st pampering. They look and smell incredible.

Took my feisty 7 month old puppy for a haircut today. Previous experience wasn’t good and I was anxious about her behaviour. I was put at ease and was thrilled to see Queenie looking a million dollars when I collected her later! I will definitely be returning here and would highly recommend.

Took Scruff there today for bath, trim and claws clipped. Excellent service but most importantly Scruff was very relaxed and seemed be enjoying himself when we collected him. Definitely taking our boy there again. Thanks both.

These guys are amazing. Both dogs came back smelling amazing! I know that they are both well looked after! Considering my one dog is nervous, she is very happy to go and stay with the guys. I would definitely recommend you taking your dogs here xx

My fur babies were dispatched today for grooming. What a transformation, they went with matted fur (run off when they see a brush) came back beautifully clean and groomed. Lovely lovely owners, friendly and caring . Genuinely love their job and take great care. Thank you so much. See you soon �

I’ve had my Rottweiler tinkerbelle groomed by Matt and dan since they first ever started grooming and she has never smelt so good �� the new salon is beautiful and tinkerbelle loves them being close enough so she can walk over to them without having to get in the car!

I took both my Chows into Danyle & Mat today. They certainly had there work cut out. However Both were very professional, knowledgable, welcoming & friendly. My bears looked and smelled Devine. I Highly Recommend MaD's. They Groom my Dog Heidi and she absolutely Loves Danyle and Matthew and the team. She always comes out looking incredible and I love the fact she can be pampered and have her every need catered for in one place! Great from start to finish! There was no rushing and everything was so relaxed.Bella our 6yr old Bichon came back looking absolutely gorgeous and smelling amazing! She has been to a few groomers which always said “she needs to be completely shaved nothing else can be done” well clearly she didn’t because dan cut her exactly how we wanted like a little lamb � we are so happy with how she looks AND she knows she looks good! Honestly guys your doing a super job! Cant wait for hunter to have his pamper! Xxxx

Fabulous guys who really take the time needed to help the dogs feel happy whilst getting their grooming session. Nothing was too much trouble and Noodles even came away with a toy he enjoyed playing with whilst there. I really recommend them!

Came to MaD's via a professional recommendation for my anxious Poochon. He's been groomed in the past but never come back looking so happy and relaxed. Matt and Dan kept me updated throughout their appointment letting me know he was settled and sending me photos. The cut was lovely and he smelled great for days and his ears have never felt softer. Really excellent price for a very professional and friendly local business. See you in June for Yogi's next trim.
