Magic Rentals Apartments

I spent a weekend in London on one of Magic Rental's apartments. I really like the apartment. It was clean and had everything as advertised. And location was superb. Also, staff was very helpful with all our enquires. Would book again with them for sure.

Location is great.. staff are .... mmm ok good.
The bathroom is leaking to the Subway restaurant down and they charge for this.
I will not book there again.

66B has Prince of Hyde Park which is a one bedroom studio. The problem is that Magic Rentals website only shows positive reviews. The photos are misleading, it is much darker than pictured. If it is summer time, it will get very hot being on the 3rd floor with no AC. The front window could be left open but brings in a lot of street noise. The rear window in the bedroom opens up to an alley with loud industrial ventilation fans for the restaurants so it's too loud (and hot).

The bathroom is dimly lit by a single pull-chain light. The stairwell up to the studio is three flights of dimly lit, very narrow stairs.

It's a good location and the kitchen is nice and tidy, although there is no kitchen towel. (Also no washclothes.)

The bed mattresses are very thin. The main bed is very squeaky, so much so that it is difficult to get a good night's sleep because every movement makes a noise.

We stayed in Bayswater and had a very comfortable time. The flat was clean and a great place to relax after long days touring London. Magic Rentals staff were courteous and prompt in answering all questions and concerns. Convenient location for getting around London.

Excellent location, Bayswater station practically across the road and Hyde Park at the end of the street! Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. A comfortable and pleasant home from home in central London. Highly recommendable for families!

I have tried to book a place with them many times over the last few months! Each time the preliminary email comes back as "book now, your dates are available", but when I try to book I get a standard email saying "Due to high demand they will email me personally, and if I don't hear from them in 24 hours they can't accommodate.' I have never heard back from them, no matter which apartment I try to book, no matter which site I try booking thru! Which leads me to look for reviews on their company - so I am adding my experience with this frustrating company!

Magic Rentals provides excellent customer service, promptly answers any email or phone inquiries and has a local customer service rep always available. The apartment was clean, well equipped and provided free wifi.

The apartment was as advertised. It was clean, bright and conveniently located near two tube stations - Bayswater and Queensway. Various options for dining nearby. Easy walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. The keys did not turn easily in the door locks and once reported to Magic Rentals, the situation was corrected immediately.
