Come and have fun as a family and learn some new skills, exercise and socialize all at the same time. Skills offered include juggling, plate spinning, balancing, diabolo, bucket and hand-held stilt-walking, hula-hoops, poi, devil and flower sticks, ribbons, balancing board, tightrope, Rolla-Bolla, pedal goes, fun wheels and basic acrobatics.
... The workshop session is designed for families to enjoy doing something together, learning new skills, exercising and having fun together. We do understand that sometimes for health or personal reasons, parents or carers do not wish to participate and for that reason, we do have a Lounge and Café area for them to sit in during the session, there is no charge for this and refreshments are available to purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot permit people to sit in the Circus Hall during the session for health and safety reasons. As with other activities such as dancing or gymnastics, there is no need for parents/carers to supervise their children, they will be guided by the instructors during the session and then allowed to develop skills by themselves.
Please note, access and prams below: All our community activities have limited spaces for health and safety and insurance purposes and entrance is first to come, first served at the present time. If you wish to book a slot in advance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Doors will be open 5 minutes at the beginning of each time slot, 30 minutes for the shows. For late entries, you will need to call the mobile number at the door and we will attend to you as soon as we are free. If you need to leave early you must notify Melanie or Angelo at the beginning of the session for the Fire Safety Register. Prices applicable to all children from 1 year upwards (6 months for Circo-tots) and adults attending Family Circus Workshops and Shows.
No outside food or drink allowed with the exception of baby food and milk and re-usable bottled water. Refreshments available from the Kiosk or Café. We do not have a refuse service to keep costs down, so water bottles must be taken home.
Unfortunately, at the present time, there is no wheelchair access to the first floor (our venue) or disabled toilets. If you require assistance bringing a wheelchair upstairs, this can be arranged. We have grab bars in one of our male toilets and would arrange for sole, private use of the male toilets for anybody in a wheelchair. Our services are also available to hire off-site, please do not hesitate to contact us for further advice.
For guests with prams, Magical Circus has some space available at the foot of the stairwell but prams are left at the owner's risk. Arts Award Summer School - Explore Level
Magical Circus is now an Arts Award Centre with a qualified adviser. This summer holidays your child can work towards and achieve their Explore Level Award if they are 9 - 15 years of age. Arts Award is a recognized qualification and can be used towards UCAS.
... Places are limited to 15 per course and each course will only proceed if we have 10 places filled per course.
We are offering three different themes with a range of artistic skills to work towards achieving their award. Week 1 - Monday 6th - Friday 10th August 2018, 9.30 - 3.30pm - Circus Show Week 2 - Monday 13th - Friday 17th August 2018, 9.30 - 3.30pm - Zombie Play Week 3 - Monday 20th - Friday 24th August 2018, 9.30 - 3.30pm Fairytale Puppet Theatre

What a fantastic place, our 2 boys thoroughly enjoyed the make a den session. So welcoming were the staff and the cafe was excellent and value for money. We will definitely be booking sessions in the future. Thankyou for a brilliant experience!

What a fantastic find. I was looking on hoop and came across this and I am so made up as it's a great place. The attention to detail is great. The family that run it are lovely and include everyone and make time for every child. I can't wait to go back. I didn't think my little one was going to leave she loved it so much. Xx

What a brilliant day we had with Magical Circus. From a whole school assembly, to sessions with pre-school and F2 and a demonstration for parents, a great day where even the quietest children developed new skills and had fun. Please come again next year!

We had our daughter's 7th Birthday party here yesterday for twenty 7 or unders and what a great party it was. We knew what to expect and had chosen our elements for a party tailored to our daughter however the party surpassed our expectations.



There was a brilliant performance by Angelo, Melanie and the wonderful Angelica containing plenty of slapstick humour to keep the 7 year olds (and parents) very happy.



Everything went really smoothly including the Birthday Tea, that was lovely. I can totally recommend Magical Circus for parties, workshops and any other role we can fit them into.



Thank you for a wonderful party, see you later in the year as child number 2 has already decided she's having a party there too.

We had Melanie and Angelo visit our school as an end of year treat for our attendance celebration. I cannot rate them high enough. They put on a wonderful show for 100 children and had every one of them in the palms of their hands. We had children from reception to yr 6 and they all had the best time. The staff loved it too. Will definitely book again and can highly recommend them. Well done to you both and thank you for entertaining us. The children haven't stopped talking about it since.

We came on visit with our Year 3 and 4 children. It was amazing !!! The children learnt a lot about the history of the circus and then persevered whilst learning new circus tricks ! Thank you all for a wonderful day.

We booked Kuki and Krums for our daughter's 4th birthday party and I can't praise them highly enough. They kept children and adults of all ages entertained for two hours, which is no mean feat with a bunch of 4 year olds! I would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting the magical circus xx

Forget the hustle and bustle of the soft play areas and crazikidness you can find in such establishments... magical circus is a complete hidden gem in Birkenhead town centre. Beautifully decorated, genuine warm welcome by the owners and hosts, and lots of quirks for the quirky kids. Circus school was taught in small groups, patient and professional tuition, given to all with a warm smile! Reasonably priced and lots of variety! For those of you with children who love fun and games an absolute must! �
