This is the only Indian restaurant I will use these days. Always consistently excellent food and and all the staff make you feel welcome and look after you very well all the time you are there. Our new year meal was fantastic and I'd thank all the staff for the usual great food and friendly service. Top notch.

This is our local Indian restaurant have been going for over 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Food has always been and still is excellent very friendly staff always fit you in.

I absolutely loved it great food beautiful decor, I ordered the Tandoori Salmon starter was so succulent and fresh really got the taste buds going, for main I had a Chicken Tikka Madras was so nice and not to hot you could taste the curry instead of just the chillies I also had pilau rice with lemon and chilli Nann a great evening carnt wait for the return as their ingredients/food excite the pallet so much thanks Maharaja

Gorgeous food, cannot fault it in anyway! The tandori mixed grill was my husbands chosen main course..... however i had to keep stealing pieces as it was that delicious!!

Been coming here now for over 10years and can safely say it is THE best Indian restaurant we have ever been too. All the staff are lovely & friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

We had a two course meal with side dishes and drinks and it was around £39 - wow! Total value for money too!!!

Been to the Maharaja on a Saturday night with friends. We went in and ordered our drinks which arrived promptly then we ordered poppadoms and starters which we really enjoyed. My main meal was a chicken chilli tawa with special fried rice which was amazing and out of this world. All in all me and my friends all enjoyed our food and the friendly service that we received from start to finish. Definitely will be back.

Arrived just after opening on a Sunday and there were already several couples and a group. We were seated and served promptly. There was a slight delay on one of our starters (3 of us) but the wait was worth it. Mains were delicious and great portion size. Drinks were replenished quickly too. We even had dessert which again was lovely. All in all a fabulous evening, great food, great service and prompt too considering there were 3 servers dealing with a table of 12 and several couples. Never been disappointed in any visit either seated or takeaway. Definitely recommended.

Went Saturday night for family birthday meal all 6 of us had a good time with good food and good service, definitely recommend if your in the area.

We had to wait over an hour for the food - there was no one coming over to say there was a wait on, we asked a couple of times and it was only then that we were fobbed off with “soon”.



Along with buying drinks for everyone, we asked for tap water 3 times. This wasn’t forthcoming so in the end I got glasses and had to get my own water from the toilet. The staff saw what I had done and talked about it amongst themselves but no one came over and apologised for not getting water.



At the end when my father-in-law went and paid they apologised to him for the slow service, but the rest of us at the table obviously didn’t warrant an apology.



I’m really disappointed as it was our favourite restaurant in Telford.

Food was lovely, went for a quiet meal, four rather drunken guys being loud but when staff apologised to us my bloke said it’s part over the atmosphere, so no problem, then my bloke got started on for absolutely no reason other than standing at the bar paying the bill, was followed out side by the 4 guys followed by the staff who then let the rowdy lot back in, could have and shud have been handled better, night ruined

Very disappointed.!! I booked a table two days ago for my partners birthday...we arrived at 7:30 when the table was booked and we were told a table would not be ready for another 20 minutes.!! We were told that someone arrived half an hour late for their booking and that is why we were waiting.!! We had to go elsewhere as we had other plans for the evening.!! I expect some form of discount when we next visit (if we decide to return) Unacceptable.!!
