Went last night (a Tuesday) for the first time in about 3 years and it was amazing! We got the tapas Tuesday special and got so much food! Nice to be able to try new things, and great value for money. The staff were lovely and helpful too, definitely be back next time I’m in Blyth!

We ordered a take away from here last night and it was superb. Piping hot when it arrived and tasted as good as it does when we eat at the restaurant. Thank you Maharajas x

We had the Tapas on Tuesday night it was lovely. Popadoms to start with the pickles very nice. Had Cobra to wash it down nice and cold. Definitely going back more often.

I went to the maharajs lounge with my family, the food is amazing, the best food I have tasted in a long time, amazing spices and chilli's I had the vindaloo with pilau rice. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and really clean, the staff were really friendly and welcoming the service was great.

I am Maharaj‚Äôs Number 1 Fan! ÔŅĹ

However I think my Dad would have to disagree with that! He asks to go every time he visits from the North-West! ÔŅĹ

Had our first visit on Thursday night. It was early so we were the only ones in. Lovely place with a nice atmosphere that could only improve with more people present.

Staff were very attentive and friendly.

We thought the food was outstanding, very readonably pricef and probably the best Indian meals we've had. Don't know why we left it so long to visit but will definitely be going back soon.

Curry went down a treat. Very flavorsome.

Plenty of choices on the menu and not too expensive either.

Tuesday is tapas day, great for choosing a bit of everything.

Excellent food friendly staff the mixed Balti superb! Was introduced to both the tapas evening on a Tuesday which I have already had..... Fantastic amount of food for the price. Also the loyalty card which is useable for both dining in or when collecting.

A must if your an Indian lover of food 5 stars.

Can not recommend the restaurant highly enough. We went for the #TapasTuesday and the food was amazing, super value and brilliant service. We were in a group of 10 so that was 60 dishes prepared and served all together....an amazing feat! Huge compliments to the chef, we will definitely be back.

Best restaurant in Blyth by far. The staff bend over backwards to meet your every need. Went our Xmas party last night with 21 lads and they couldnt of been more accomodating. Visit and see for yourself

We thought it had a Thursday night special on as most Indians have one on , but to eat in the restaurant it's al-a-carte on only do a special set meal if you have a takeaway. Food was very good and service was excellent couldn't fault anything about it. The restaurant's decor is really lovely nice and clean and bright very sparkly. We will have another visit maybe to try there tapas night on a Tuesday.
