We have about 15 of these beautiful Barilius canarensis in stock, all at a really good size (at least 2 inches). A real collectors fish (but still very easy to keep) at an unbelievable price of £8.99 each, 3 for £21.99, 6 for £37.99. The going rate for these fish is usually closer to £20 each. This isn’t our picture as these are very fast moving fish that my awful photography skills won’t do justice.

good morning , i recently had a problem with some fish i purchased not getting along with other fish , i contacted Ben from maidenhead ashton and his customer services skills were absolutely brilliant ,Ben also let my grandson collect the fish from me and return the fish for a full refund as i dont drive and live in top mossley . I have not received such an excellent customer service experience in a very long time , i take my hat off to you young man and my wife says a big thankyou as she was tired of hearing me complaining and moaning - you are an asset to the company , thankyou very much indeed Ben

Great staff, loads of knowledge, I like how the fish are kepted and separated when they 1st arrive. Very helpful and go that extra bit to see customers happy. Highly recommended :) in my opinion yes cost of fish is more expensive but you get what you pay for quality!

We have had fish ever since they have had them, we even bought them for work where the children love them.

The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable. However, If your planning on buying an aquarium from them( If it has "Sold as seen" on it) make sure to get them to set it up before purchasing. After purchasing my tank in December last year i discovered that one of the two filters were broken and that the heater they sold with it was broken aswell.



Ill still use here for fish but i highly doubt ill be making any large purchases from them anymore.

wasnt happy with my visit on saturday staff to busy chatting and ignoring customers and quite a few dead fish in tanks few people walked out without buying same as me, normally better than this dont think i will be back!

Worse than useless aquarium staff , had zero knowledge of any of the fish they stock . Was lied to by a member of staff claiming to be a manager . If you want good healthy fish please avoid this place like the plague!!!! They tried selling me a clown fish for a freshwater aquarium ??

Special journey to buy marine fish, was told can’t buy them today due to maintenance.... I didn’t like your page until now so didn’t know. Also bad advice given on several prior occasions regarding reducing nitrite levels in tropical tank (I was told to increase water changes) which made the problem worse, went to Abyss in Stockport who told me to stop the water changes, problem resolved in less than a week. Will stick to Abyss in future, far more knowledgeable and more fish available (rather than nearly every tank saying they’re currently not on sale).

Bought a couple if items for marine tank; got home one dead; took back and staff were unsympathetic.

Not happy at all I brought fish of u guys 2 weeks ago the lady said the male had fat belly coz eat lots day later my other fish along with the male I got of u died my friend got the same Promble today we are very unhappy now
