Maidenhead Aquatics Plymouth is now hiring and we have a full time position available.
This position is 5 days a week which may include weekends and bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in all areas of fish keeping, with some previous experience in fishkeeping with an enthusiasm for the hobby. The role involves aiding in the day to day maintenance of the store including caring for the wide variety of livestock that we carry and serving customers. High ...standards of customer service are important to our business and applicants should be enthusiastic and professional. The person we are looking for should be a positive practical individual who is keen to be part of a strong happy team of staff who enjoy working in their vocational career. As a Full time sales assistant, the job will require the following; · Deliver excellent standards of livestock care and store presentation. · Greet all our customers in an articulate, approachable and friendly manner to maintain our high standards of customer care. · Communicate your fishkeeping knowledge clearly to customers with varying levels of experience and maintain our policy of responsible fishkeeping. · Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment. · Complete sales correctly and efficiently ensuring customers leave the store fully satisfied. · Getting merchandise out onto the shop floor, organizing stock neatly on the shelves and making sure it's correctly priced and available. · Be self-motivated, positive and organised. · Be reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic to learn.

Went up to maidenhead today and got a gorgous pair of gold ring hillstream loaches they have setteld right in and are very pretty xx

We couldn’t be happier with the service from Darren and his team. They have gone above and beyond any expectations we had and we will be customers for a very long time.

The team are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and will support you to get healthy happy homes for your livestock.

Visited today to buy some fish and plants, the staff member who served me was great, very friendly, knowledgable and genuinely interested in fish. Will define be going back



Can't rate them highly enough especially after a some odd experience at some other aquatic stores!

Visited today and bought a new aquarium. Great value. Staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend to family and friends.

New manger is helpful I will shop again, Thank you.

I just wanted to leave 5 stars for the whole team at the Plymouth Crownhill store, every time we visit this store, they are always helpful and friendly with lots of advice when I ask, thank you guys!

I arrived here the same day as visiting 2 other very good aquarium shops in Plymouth, but the service received here along with the best price won over my business.



The attention and patience given to me, a complete novice, was excellent. The price was the best out of the 3 stores. The offer of ongoing assistance after my purchase was also gratefully received and something that I will take them up on.

After an error in customer service the incident was rectified by a personal visit from the manager going above and beyond what we expected. This showed that although the incident happened MA are dedicated to ensuring every customer is valued and are on hand to provide correct advice if required. We will be visiting again.
