Amazing day with so many Cadets from West Kent District taking part in the District Rowing Regatta. Everyone worked so hard and did themselves proud!! TS Scott hasn't entered the competition for a couple of years but this year we came back fighting!!! Our Boys Open Fixed Seat Team came 1st and will be off to the Area Regatta next month!!! Our rowing teams should be at 1 Maritime Way, St Mary's Island, Chatham. ME4 3ER at 08.45 in boating rig with lunch, plenty to drink, a cap, sun cream, change of clothes and a towel. We aim to start the first race at approx 09.15. Parents are welcome to watch and give their support to our teams. I will have team tops, T1 cards and bouyancy aids with me. Absolutely brilliant day at the West Kent District Paddlesport Competition. LC Cameron came 1st in the Open Boys Time Trial and Sprint, OC Jacob came 2nd in the Junior Boys Sprint, Cdt Kathleen came 3rd in her catagory ory and Maidstone Boys won the District Boys Paddle Trophy for overall performance!!!!! Thank you to both PO Pilkinton's for Team Manager and Beach master. Well done to everyone who took part. Great day at Sheppey Sea Cadet Unit.

The biggest thank you to the LC Cameron, AC Luke, AC Calum, AC Blake, OC Nick, PO Newbury, and PO Pilkinton for working so very hard out on The Mayor of Maidstone's Court of Survey Cruise. They worked tirelessly in the heat and helped the convoy through the locks. Thank you also to Mrs Godden and PO Pilkinton for keeping me company whilst we met the cruise at Allington Lock, lock meadow and back to Wateringbury at the end of the day. Great day doing our Civic Duty and very much appreciated by the organisers and guests. Well done Team Scott!!!!
