Majestic Wine City

Big Majesic with the usual great selection. Can buy just one bottle now but prices much cheaper by the box. Watch out for the price notices which give the box price in big orint and the single bottle in small! Store is across the main Road from Box Park and around the corner from Shoreditch High St overground.

A broad range of wine, helpful staff, you can taste some of them before you buy.

Excellent wine shop with brilliant service from staff members who are truly knowledgeable about wine. They have a great selection and the staff are super helpful - one person there helped us pick similar but less expensive wine (from a different region) to the ones we like which were spot on! I would thoroughly recommend this place for quality wine and quality advice.

Incredible (un-London like) service from staff who really know their wine. A great selection at reasonable prices. If you're a fan of Kiwi Pinots, Australian Shirazs or obscure beers (or really anything for that matter) this is the place for you!

Superb service - guys in the shop often know good deals to be had on the lesser known wines. Party service has been used in the past, and was very easy, straight forward and good value.

Went in last week for first time, walk past it most days. Majestic is a chain, but I've never heard of it. Get better price when you buy in bulk, but do free delivery. Guy gave we wine beer and some gin to try, so I've stocked up for Christmas.

Nice, used Majestic in the past much better now allows you to buy a bottle (never understood why not). Guys seemed to know there stuff and very helpful. Will go back

Went today... Embarassing service!
Not only they had a CORKED Rioja to try, I wonder how possible is having people in a wine shop not being able to detect a corked bottle...
We asked if possible to try another new bottle of same Rioja, and a guy just replied us : " We won't open any other bottle"... Shocking!
He seemed pretty all right for having a corked bottle to try, keep unboxing staff and saying " Oh Yea? I will check that later, thank you"...

After I have told the lady about the bottle she went serving other customers, not coming back for at least 10 minutes... So we asked their permission to carry on with our own the tasting, in fact the lady never came back even after having served the customers....... So we did, and actually that was the orginal plan, since they do not even know how a possible sequence in wine tasting should be...
Pointless (not a real problem) to say staff is not even able to open a wine bottle... See any of them opened already...
Shame is on the recruiter, first of all! Still not being able to ensure to have people in the business, and not just retailers....
Did not buy any, do not think I will buy wine again from Majestic as well.. I prefer to support whoever really loves wine rather than someone who just want to make numbers...
