We have practised pencil control and writing our names!! The children have also done a great job colouring winter pictures.

Today we have been looking at Winter, the children told us what we wear in winter and if the weather is warm or cold. We talked about snow and how we love building snowmen and playing with snowballs. The children have all independently found their coats,hats,scarfs and gloves and got themselves ready to go out in the cold.⛄⛄❄❄

Playing on the park, lots of confidence building and can do attitudes today!! It's so lovely watching the children grow in independence and use equipment on the park that a few months ago couldn't do!! Very proud of all our little ones!! 😊😊😊😊

We chopped up lots of different vegetables, put out some pan's, plastic knives and let the children cook up a storm!! They made vegetable soup, vegetable stew and vegetables mash!! 😊

We used the vegetables that we had been looking at to paint with!! The children really enjoyed painting with vegetables. 😊😊

Today we have been looking at different vegetables, we have looked at the different colours, their textures if they felt hard or soft, if the were Big or small and what shapes they were. We all counted the different vegetables together and sorted them into their own separate piles. 🌽🍆🌶🍄

The children chose pictures of their favourite fruits and did gluing and stick.

We have tried different fruit, we have looked at the different colours of fruit and also looked at their taste and textures. The children told us which was their favourite fruit.🍎🍐🍉🍇🍌🍓🍍

We have played the lunch box game, we made a healthy lunch box and a un healthy lunch box!!

Making Memories Childcare is just fab!! Sarah & Kev are absolutely fantastic with Olivia and all of their children. Olivia was shy at first but they have been patient with her and she is now out of her shell and loves going every morning. I love how much varied activity they do indoors and outside. Olivia has come on so much since May and is more confident than ever. Thank you so much Sarah & Kev ��

Love that Charlie now comes to making memories childcare. He gets involved in so many varied activities not always possible at home. Love looking at pictures of him full of gloop/paint etc and can see the interest in his little face. Really look forward to seeing what he's been up to each day. Great childcare which is provided with lots of imaginative & relevant activities. He seems now to be settled and enjoys his days with you. Hopefully Charlie will continue to stay with you as his childcare provider when I return to work following maternity leave, and also his little brother Finley can experience the same great setting. Big thumbs up from us

If I weren’t leaving the country, my little girl would NOT be leaving Making Memories. We honestly couldn’t recommend Sarah and Kev enough to look after your child. I’ve never known two people who are so caring and passionate about their job. They have been absolutely amazing with my daughter and so patient with her, as at the beginning she would get very upset when I would leave and even at times refuse to eat! As soon as this was cracked though Evelyn couldn’t wait to go, she would kick her legs to get out of the car, run to the door to wait for Sarah, give me a hug and off she would go to play. The app they use is brilliant for seeing how your child is getting on! I love seeing my daughter enjoying her day, playing with the various toys and having fun with the children. I love how every week there is something different to do and it’s great how they also link everything to the EYFS, which you get to see too. Thank you so incredibly much Sarah and Kev! We’re going miss you guys xx
