Malabar has won a national double award. We thank all the customers, our staff and all at curry life magazine. Have a read everyone.

Hello everyone, due to the recent comments about the poor service received by customers I have decided to be come back here from Birmingham. if anyone has any ideas of any improvements that can be made, please contact me. I look forward to seeing you all here. watch out for an Indian summer cocktail party... cocktails, canapes and Indian outfits please everyone.. dates released shortly.

excellent food as always.....the only thing is the lighting...I asked if I could sit by the kitchen..as it is a bit brighter..as my eyes are not very good in the dull lighting...glaucoma .

We went to this restaurant for the first time last week and the food was outstanding the staff was great and will definitely go again.

Perfect 👌 Gorgeous curry, not the run of the mill, friendly helpful staff, thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Would highly recommend and it is going to be a restaurant we will definitely visit again. Superb! 👍

Our second visit food has amazing has the first time you do need to book a table so that you don't have to wait a very popular place will be returning well done excellent

Just had a fantastic meal at the Malabar. Never had a bad meal here. Service by Naj and Islam nothing less than you would expect from a Five star restaurant. Good luck with the awards tonight guys.

Great food great staff been going for many years can't fault it and never been turned away if we don't book

From the moment you enter the warm welcoming restaurant to having such great fantastic service and mouth watering, exquisite and deliciously well soul cooked food served on the table. Its always my pleasure to keep going back all over again. I'm also proud of Shah and team for winning curry awards too again. Well done. Well deserved. I will highly recommend all to come dine in at the Malabar Penn.

Excellent surroundings and great food. Friendly staff my husband had the prawns andhe saud fabulous. Definitely be visiting again

Excellent food tonight,first time I’ve eaten there,superb restaurant superb food,would totally recommend to anyone A1 all round.

Came yesterday missis is a vegitarian ..fish and veg menu was so good and whole menu in general �� people so freindly and food was beautiful ...loved it ...���

Amazing food not long of a wait quite pricey but 100 percent worth it !

Also lovely decor I recommend pre booking !

Amazing flavours, great food, service was good last night too! Staff are warm and friendly-nothing too much trouble.

5 of us went for s meal, the whole experience was excellent, customer service was spot on, food was just amazing, being Indian and hate eating Indian food out I wasn't expecting a lot, but I have to say I would eat at Malabar all the time... Thank you x

My first time eating here. I was impressed, the food was great and the service was pretty quick. The drinks were hugely overpriced £16 for a bottle of wine, and the staff could be a little more friendly. On the whole, I would definitely go again, nice atmosphere nice food and surroundings

Disappointed to be honest. A very undercooked starter... Raw chicken. This prompted me to check the main for being cooked thoroughly. Staff were courteous n knocked it off the bill but to me that's not the point! If ur paying £9.95 for a main, at a recommended restaurant all meals should be of a standard and not being presented to the customer uncooked... School boy errors!!!

Terrible service, waiting around for ages, asked for Poppadoms as we were all starving and they didn’t come, ordered starters and asked for them again so they arrived just before starters. They also added drinks we didn’t have on to the bill which was already high as there were 12 of us! Have since found out that this happened to someone else I know! Cannot fault the food when we finally got it though, overpriced!

Un satisfied with the service I've had tonight. The curry wasn't the best very water based. Sat around waiting for someone to come and take my order for a drink! Won't be going back here again I'm afraid.

The worst restaurant I have ever to 20 family members are here : service is shit : I have asked 4 times for the conditioning to be put on ? It is so hot no can be bothered : the starts are small portions been here since 7-30 still awaiting main course never again: from a indian to indian it is shit :
