We found this place while out on the river on our boat, we now travel out as often as we can. Well worth the 6-7 hour trip and we moor up overnight so we can have a relaxed evening here. There is always a friendly welcome, the atmosphere is lovely and the food is amazing. Very much looking forward to our next visit.

Today, me and my family (5 ad & 2 kids) came out to you for tea/drink & a game of pool. Was a lovely couple of hours, peaceful - very welcoming & amazing food. This is not the 1st time we have been and definitely won't be the last xxx (boys said can u get a little goal out back haha - cheek) �

The food is absolutely amazing. So flavourful....ate every bit. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend coming here. Beautiful pub surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Proper old school feel pub. Great ale, great food and great service. We will be back, keep up the good work ����

Oh my god, just had a takeaway, it was mega, thanks Mark and nickie loved it . Everybody have a night off from cooking at home. Chicken and chips with salad for Phil and chicken strogenoff with new potatoes and veg for me , you need to try it. Xxx

My wife and I called in to try the food after seeing good reports on Trip Advisor we were not disappointed. We were greeted and made very welcome by the bar staff, first impressions were a clean and lively place to be.

We were escorted to the spacious restaurant and given a varied menu. I ordered mixed grill my wife ordered sirloin. Not too long to wait it looked good and tasted good a 1st class mixed grill not many places around here can produce good food like this. We will return.

Love this pub great food and a warm welcome from Marc and Nicki, who have made it into a proper village pub.great atmosphere and nothing too much trouble for them both.

I popped in for a midweek treat with my wife and son.



The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, the regular customers were also friendly.



The restaraunt is spacious and laid back.



The waiter was a cracking lad, polite and attentive and seemed to enjoy his job.



The menu had a nice range to choose from.



The food was no nonsense, good honest grub that was absolutely delicious. 3 empty plates and 3 happy customers.

Great tasting ale, lovely welcome from friendly staff and we had the carvery......which is great value for money. Loads of choice, and very tasty food indeed. Highly recommended. We have changed our weekend carvery venue to the Malcom Arms. We’ll be back !

called for a drink said hello to the land lady she just ignored us , ,she was sat outside the door having a fag shouting through about being there a year , we both said hello , she didn't speak to us
