Precision Machining and Engineering

Our precision machining facility has complimented our engineering services for over 20 years. MFL are able to offer a full mechanical service of inspection and repair supported by our Fabrication division.

MFL carry out machining of a wide range of materials. Many materials are available from stock or are available next day from our supply chain.

Welding

MFL have a range of skilled tradesmen to carry out welding services. Welding can be carried out at our fabrication workshops or on site dependent on customer requirements.

Welding Services Include;
•Mig Welding; Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium.
•MMA Welding: Mild Steel and Stainless Steel.
•TIG Welding; Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Copper.
Coded welders can be supplied and qualified to customer specified procedures for specific contracts.

Site security

MFL are currently expanding our services to include the supply of security operatives. MFL are approved by the S. I. A to provide security personell for gatehouse and site security duties.

MFL Manufacture a range of lime, fertilizer and salt spreaders for agriculture, contractors and industrial use. The machines are manufactured under licence from Transpread and Landrive and range from 3000kg -12000kg capacity.

Many machines are used by contractors for large farms or salt spreading contracts for the Highways Agency.


MFL are proud to be associated with Kelvin Cave Ltd who are the sole distributer of MFL's crushers in the UK market. MFL have many years experience in the manufacture of agricultural rolling mills for large farm and contractor use. The crusher is used to roll agricultural grains producing a flat rolled product ideal for animal feed
