Wined, Dined and treated to an overnight stay at Malmaison. Rooms are gorgeous! Food was amazing, I'd recommend the buffalo wings to start in the restaurant!! Slept like a baby - comfy, fluffy pillows and quilt. A gorgeous hotel and would recommend to anyone!

What a wonderful morning spent in the Malmaison spa to celebrate my daughter’s birthday in style. Beautiful surroundings, expert massage from Daniella and sheer relaxation followed by a superb lunch. Great value and highly recommended

We had a lovely evening. Started with drinks in the conservatory and then went into the light but warm restaurant where the waitress Lydia was a delight. Chatty & knowledgable about the wine and we were glad you could have a decent glass of red without buying the bottle! Tasty pate, delicious fishcakes, flavoursome steak & we wished we could have got to the deserts but failed... going back soon...

This was the second time we had booked the Drawing Room for a private family dinner, and although it is now run by a different chain, we were very pleased with the meal. The lovely room was just right for fourteen of us, and the food was superb. The waiting staff gave us just the right amount of attention, and were very friendly and efficient. We had paid for the meal up front, so all we had to pay for were the drinks. Be aware that a percentage service charge was added to this. We made the mistake of not realising this, and we had already left a cash tip on the table. Never mind, the ladies serving us were lovely, and I hope they shared it.

This is the second time we have stayed at Malmaison and we love it. The staff are lovely. The chap on reception was fabulous. I didn't notice his name, but he was working on Saturday afternoon (23rd June)and Sunday too (dark hair and glasses) - he's a credit to Malmaison. The spa is wonderful. The breakfast is delightful.... a bit of queueing for a table, but the staff were going flat out to re-set tables as they became available. Absolutely recommend Malmaison!

Stayed on Sunday evening and we were meeted and greeted by the Reception supervisor. Sorry I didn’t catch his name, but he was doing his job very profesional. Also he gave us some information about the artworks at the hotel and the town on its own. Our room was on the second floor, overlooking at the front of the hotel. The room was spacious with 10ft bed and roll top bath. The rainforest shower was the best thing that you can ask for after few hours drive. Then we had dinner in the Brasserie. We’re welcomed by Lídia. She was looking after us whole night. She is very profesional and passionate about what she is doing. On the next morning chef Vasil has prepared the best eggs Benedict for us. I would like to say big thank you to the management and the team. They have made our stay in Cheltenham unforgettable.

Lovely atmosphere. The best place tp have afternoon tea with good friends. But when you book always ask for the conservatory seating area it makes it extra special. Food is lovely to. Good value for money with a glass of prosecco.

Had afternoon tea for a special occasion in a private room which was excellently prepared. Staff were very helpful and attentive and the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Had a really lovely lunch and the service was great x

First class hotel! Exceeded expectations from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict. All staff especially management made us feel very relaxed and welcomed. Can’t wait to book our next stay! 5 stars all round.

Came here for afternoon tea with my daughter who had booked for my birthday. Staff very friendly. They also gave us a glass of prosecco each on the house for my birthday which was a pleasant surprise! Food was delicious and we were full by the time we had finished. Very enjoyable afternoon and would recommend very highly.

Staff all very welcoming and friendly, room lovely and spotlessly clean but didn’t get a wink of sleep due to the noisy vent in the bedroom! Took shelter to the bathroom at 4am and had a bath where you could not hear the vent ! Breakfast was nice but the smoked salmon and fluffy scrambled eggs were not fluffy and were in fact very grey looking which was off putting a little. Booked spa treatments before we left on the Sunday and it was amazing !

And to top it off when we went up to the room to pack the lift wasn’t working so had to climb 3 flights of stair to find key card not working so had to go back down to come back up again before we could pack then go down to check out !! So our relaxing spa became a workout !!

Lovely hotel, fabulous food, staff excellent, negative it was lacking in atmosphere.

Room 216 was classed a cosy room. It was more than adequate for a one night stay. Comfy bed

Bathroom quite spacious.

Didn’t eat there.

Excellent food. Beautiful room. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our room did not look like the cover photo for sure. Clean big room. Desk impossible to use as crammed into window with the curtains. Really low shower, so at 6ft 1, unable to stand under it. For a room of that price, a comfortable shower should be a given. Worn out towelling robes. Really arsey guy on reception when i mentioned this. Apparently as a hotel they are not responsible for the quality of anything supplied to them. Odd really, as everything is supplied to them, and quality control is why they are 4star. Disappointed will stay in Hotel du vin next time. At least they care.
