The Electric theatre serves tapas food along with over 20 different gins, fine wines, whiskey and unbelievable cocktails. We also serve cask ales including timothy taylor landlord and yorkshire blonde. To the rear of the premises there is a large functions room which is available to hire for any upcoming birthday parties, christenings, wedding or any occasion in which you would require the use of large stylish room. there is a area for children to play.

Would highly recommend the hot rocks, a dining experience with a difference, also had the sizzling fajitas and they were superb, excellent portions! Returning on Tuesday for steak night, amazing value for money and brilliant food ☺
Went to my nephew son christening on the 4/9/2016 the food was lovely the staff was very helpful did a nice meal nothing was too much trouble catered for every one I would recommend it to anyone
We went to Malones today as a treat for Fathers day and tried the Self cook Meat on Larva rocks .
I had fillet steak and my son had Gammon
What a great experience we had , to cook your own steak to your desired taste was really great . I recommend you give it a try and will deffinatley go back

Spur of the moment meal out at Electric Theatre and what a good choice of venue. Excellent and friendly customer service, first-class meal and well kept and tidy premises. Comfortable sofa seating in lounge / bar area and well laid out dining floor. Will definitely be returning for dining, visiting the sports bar and/or their live music evenings.
My son had a fantastic birthday here,he loved every minute and the food was amazing. Gaz who was in charge was brill nothing was to much for him. Thank you
My first visit to Frog and Moose Oregano and we weren't disappointed. Lovely clean place. A good selection of food. Waitresses very friendly, helpful and polite especially Jess. Compliments to the chefs the food I had was lovely, brushetta, pizza and banoffee cheesecake all good size portions and well worth the money. Really enjoyed it and will defo be goin back. Would recommend this place to everyone.
Me and my new hubby had our wedding reception here and it was fantastic Shirley and especially Gareth worked hard to help decorate the venue get everything prepared and Gareth was a great host making sure everything was how we wanted it on the night I really enjoyed our night and was glad we had booked Malones. I would definitely recommend Malones for a personal touch to your wedding reception as they listen to what you want and prepare around you making it more individual rather than some other wedding venues that do things similar for every couple.
Me and my fiancée recently had our engagement party here in the function room and it was amazing! The room is just what you need for a party, the staff were always at hand behind the bar and the food provided was very good! I would recommend for anyone having a party!

Just had a lovely meal at the Oregano Restaurant. Amazing food at great prices and with the outdoor play area it was great for all the family. Will definitely be going again. So pleased Ackworth have finally got a place that serves quality food in a relaxed atmosphere with great facilities for the kids.
It is a very relaxing place the staff are first class ok I have a vested interest but I only speak as I find . Food was first class the entertainers were very good its worth a visit
Held a suprise party here and malones did the food it was fantistic, the cold buffet,hot pizza and most importantly the fish and chips where amazing!!! Defo reccomend letting them do the catering,fab party room too!!! Thank u to managers and staff for making my grandmas birthday one to remember xxxx
Had our twin daughters christening here yesterday and the place looked lovely, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always checking on our needs etc. The hot buffet we had was fantastic with a great selection and more than enough to feed the 80 people that attended! Thank you to everyone that contributed to make it such a special day!

Called in at The Frog & Moose for the first time last night and tried the take out. The Pizza was fantastic and the staff were really friendly - another positive to living in Ackworth!
Well what can i say about this lovely new bar in Ackworth ? Well first and foremost it is still as it was when it was the Frog and Moose. Living locally it has been hard not to notice that its only open on the busy nights now so before you venture out I would make sure they have bothered to open or are still open if it is quiet ! If you like guest Ales don't believe what have advertised as they do not have any ! So my experience of Malone's ! Living within a few hundred yards last evening the wife and I thought we would go for dinner. Given the fact it was 8.30 we decided to check before setting out if we could get a table. The phone conversation went as follows. Malone's Good evening Malone's Me Is there any chance of a table this evening ? Malone's Just a moment I will check. Slight pause while he went to check Malone's We just have one table for four ! Me There is just two of us A short silence Me Are we sorted ? A short silence Malone's We are very busy tonight you would be best waiting for a while ! Me Oh Ok ! ( it is 8.30 ) Malone,s Yeah sorry cant help! Me Ok thank you Call ended by Malone's We were made very welcome just down the road at the Angel even though we arrived as they were finishing serving. The staff went the extra mile and asked the Chef if he would still serve us ! To which he agreed instantly! Walked past Malone's just over an hour later they could have accommodated a COACH TRIP !

I booked Malones for my sons christening. What a mistake that was. The venue totally ruined my little boys special day by there poor service and unprofessional attitude.
When I booked Malones I paid a £50 deposit, and was advised by them to cater for 60 if I was expecting 80 people as this 'would be plenty'. When we arrived the room wasn't ready. The room hadn't been cleaned, it was freezing, the stools were up on the sides and there was no food. The toilets were disgusting, unclean, no toilet rolls and dirty nappies. It was like they'd totally forgot we had booked it. (A clue for them might have been when people turned up to decorate the room but guess not!)
My guests (to my embarrassment) took there own chair off the side and went to the bar where 1 person was serving. Again for 80 people all coming in at the same time ridiculous. The lager didn't taste right. Drinks were also more expensive in this room? So we paid more to 'enjoy' our drinks in a cold unclean room! I enquired about the missing food and was told 'they'll start it now'. Half an hour later out came 3 plates of sandwiches (salsa sandwich anyone?) a quiche, wedges, pork pies, some chicken and some weird meatballs that were still frozen. No serving spoons. No plates. No napkins. There was enough to feed about 20 people. (Picture attached). Paper plates arrived, all 20 of them for my 80 guests to use (!) they'd ran out of plates knowing they had a function booked in, good call! We were given napkins to eat from and bowls (!) some of which were mucky! At one point people were sharing napkins! When my friend came over to me and said he'd found a bag of coke in the toilets I'd had enough, there were 20 kids in that room anyone of them could have picked that up! The manager came over and stated they'd not forgot about the function, and they had been prepared. I'd hate to see the state of anything they were unprepared for! The manager said they'd send out some pizzas and some more wedges, no apology though. An extra barman appeared on the bar. But too little too late, the damage had already been done and some pizza wasn't going to change that. Plus half of my guests had left, hungry. I left without paying the rest of the balance, the manager never argued that I should, that speaks volumes. They'd quite clearly forgotten and tried to cover up and do a cock handed job of a Buffett. I never expected the ritz but a decent buffet and a clean room is the least you expect for £300!! Avoid this place at all costs, they haven't a clue what they're doing.
