What a lovely contemporary restaurant, from the moment you walk in you are assured of a great dining experience with an attentive service and delicious food. Definitely be coming back again and again to try some more delicious meals on the menu

Went in for a few drinks and food on a Friday night and wasn't disappointed at all! The food was absolutely lovely and Tom gave us brilliant service the whole time we were there! Will certainly be returning! �

We pop in here regularly. Sometimes for breakfast, sometimes for lunch.

The food is always fresh cooked, hot and delicious.

We are always given a warm welcome and we are given a very friendly child welcome.

High chairs, small cutlery and plastic cups all provided as part of the service.

The chef was an absolute star. He made us breakfast even though we were a few minutes past the time. Staff were very nice and helpful and we will definitely return for lunch next time. The coffee was really nice and I would return just for the coffee to be honest.

Me and my partner came in to day for the first time for a cooked breakfast food was amazing and service was lovely and friendly will be coming again

Had a great meal at this lovely restaurant, would highly recommend, very reasonable prices for cooked to order food. Had a dish from the specials menu, chicken breast with mushrooms, tomatoes and mozzarella in a cream sauce, beautiful. Definitely will go back.

Better coffee than Costa's. Food was excellent but for one item, it was cold. To me the test for outstanding service as compared to good is how a complaint is dealt with. Their service is outstanding! I will return next time I'm in Lincoln.

Amazing food, venue, price and service. I booked out the whole place for my friend's hen do. There were 35 of us and we were all served at the same time and everyone loved their food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were allowed to do what we liked and they worked around us. They made it such an easy event to organise and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks to all the staff who helped, you were great!

Haven't been here since it changed hands, the food was excellent, hot fresh and tasty. The staff were great once they saw us, but you are supposed to wait to be seated, so our fault for sitting ourselves down. Will definitely return.

Whilst the food was good for the price, the discrepancies in the bill will deter us from returning. We had to return the bill TWICE as there was food and drinks added on our bill that were incorrect.

We have been to Nine on three occasions always in the restaurant, today we went in and were offered a large table by the window which was unmade. I said it would be okay at the smaller linen covered table but the waitress said that's ok. I expected the staff to make up the tablke, cutlery and linen etc. our wine order was taken and no linen or cutlery. I asked a different waitress to make up the table, she went away and after some time still no laid table.original waitress came back to take the food order and i asked for the table to be laid. She said it was not usual as it had been busy morning and put down paper napkin cutlery, I then objected and asked why we were not shown to one of four empty tables that had been made up. She prevaricated and said that they were for bookings(this was at 1.45pm!) after some towing and froing she said it would be no problem to make up a table to which I replied it obviously was as she had delayed for 15 minutes trying to get us to sit at a formica topped table with paper napkins !! What was to have been a weekly lunch meal out venue for us and I had come today to book the Fathers day and the Jazz evening as we had enjoyed the previous experience, we will not be returning. Further to that the Chef came out at the end of the meal and spoke to my 99 year old Mother as if she was senile. She was polite in return but turned to me and remarked, 'why do people think you are GaGa just because you are aged?) We were most disappointed as the previous waitress/Owner? was very god and made us want to return.

Today walked in to here. Admittedly it was quite busy. Waited 10 mins for even a acknowledgement but nothing. Guy who was obviously waiting on tables walked past r table at least half a dozen times. Still nothing.... not even a smile let alone...sorry won’t be a moment. Another lady behind bar doing nothing... ok maybe that’s her job but surely wen it’s busy she can pass us a menu. We decided to walk out but again I wud expect someone to say ... I’m really sorry... well any excuse really but they were happy for us to walk out.

Just called in for a coffee as was shopping at the Carlton Centre. A nice friendly place although a little on the expensive side.

Really bad service with nice food. I've never written a poor review before. But the 3rd time I'd been for lunch here the 3rd time they've been back after my order to say oh we don't have that and had to choose something else. But this time they had a big party coming in for lunch. I'd ordered before they had even arrived. Over 40 minutes later they came out to say they actually didn't have any of what I ordered. Meaning for 40 mins they hadn't even started cooking my order. One person obviously means nothing here when they've a big party coming in. I was asked if I'd have a panini. So wasn't even offered the menu. I asked for something else but that had to be checked on. No none of those. So I ended up with the original order but with half the amount on the plate. Yes I agreed to that, by this time I was starving and being hypoglycaemic this type of service is not just plain rude to customers but also dangerous. I then had to ask for any price difference back. Wasn't given the complimentary drink he offered. And wasn't given back half of the meal price but instead 1.50!. When originally paid there should have been 10p change which is my choice as to put into the tip jar as which I was planning. But instead she was that pre occupied I was told to take my seat and wasn't even given the change back.

All in all a shame and Beyond poor poor service!! Will not bother again or take anyone else again.
