Today I visited Mamuśka with my Korean friend. A waitress, Whitney (I hope I remember the name properly) was very nice, helpful and patient with us. We ordered pierogi, bigos, gołabki, barszcz, kompot, kremówka and naleśniki. Our food was simply delicious. Hot, fresh, great seasoning, tasted amazing. This is exactly how we like it in Poland - and this restaurant made me feel at home. Never experienced this in any other restaurant, massive thanks to Whitney and Ian. Me and my friend loved how passionate about Polish culture, food and language the staff is, It was my friend’s first experience with polish cuisine and she absolutely loved the food and the place itself. We will definitely come back soon!

The service is really nice, the food is delicious, tastes like back at home, I really really recommend! I will definitely be back there!

User

Restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentative and the food was amazing. Leave plenty room before you go here as the portions are quite large.

My daughter and I had a lovely meal today at lunch time. We ordered a tomato soup for a starter which was very tasty and also enjoyed the chicken de volaille and pork in rich gravy sauce. The salads very also very good. The service was quick and the waitress, Whitney very nice and friendly. We'll definitely come again.

User

I have always enjoyed eating and drinking at Mamuska, the food is delicious and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. I always look forward to the next time I go there.

User

As always - fantastically tasty food. Took longer than normal to prepare but worth the wait.

User

Arrived at the restaurant and were met by a smiling cheerful young Polish girl who showed us to our table and explained the simple procedure to my wife and I.

We ordered starters and mains which arrived promptly and enjoyed a drink from the bar with the meal.

The meal was plentiful and tasty . We both enjoyed our selections and next time we'll have the mains and a desert as we were both stuffed and could fit in a desert.

Good quality, reasonably priced Cosmopolitan experience I would recommend to anyone.

We'll be back tomorrow evening, I want to try the Pope's favourite desert.

User

Amazing food. Omg pierogi was just to die for! And the polish guy was so lovely. Very helpful with his service! Will be back.

User

Amazing experience! My dad and I spent 3 nights in London (we are from San Antonio, Texas ) and dining/dranking at Mamuska's was the highlight of every single day. Pete is amazing ! We are planning another European trip and hoping to fly into London just to go to Mamuska's once more!

User

I had a late lunch and enjoyed. There is a good selection of Polish specialities with lots of assistance on understanding what they are and how to pronounce them. A brilliant range of Polish beers (which are top rate) and flavoured vodkas. Could be a good place for an evening get-together, but I can imagine it getting busy.

User

It's affordable no-frills Polish fare. Obviously there are better Polish restaurants in "little Poland" (Ealing) but it's value for money and if there's one thing they do well, it's the soups. They also have nice cakes and you can accompany your meal with a Polish beer and finish with a shot of hazelnut or cherry vodka. Just don't order the machine-coffee..

User

So mamuska use to be great ! Now muschoom sauce is absolutely nasty.

Pierogi taste like they never seen any salt or pepper in fact all the food is missing flavour.

Seams like nobody taste the food anymore.

Take away?! Do not bother will come absolutely insanely Steamed/watery

And tasteless. Most of the time leaking around the bag as they didn’t close the container properly.

Such a shame use to love this place.

You dropped your standards guys ! Pick it up as you’re loosing clientele... shame such a shame.

User

Really disappointed with the experience to be honest. The food is definitely not prepared to order but warmed up in a microwave. Loads of items from the menu were not even available on the day (mizeria, karkowka). I find that the menu is lacking basic well known Polish dishes (krupnik, kapusta zasmazana etc). Don't get the awkward way of ordering as there were 3 waitresses wondering around the venue with what seemed like nothing to do... also ladies toilets were very dirty... i won't be coming back!

User

I have visited your establishment in number of ocasions over the years but my last visit one on Saturday wasn't good at all. My expectations weren't so high, as we knew what kind of service to expect, how the ordering system works and prepared that some dishes might be not aviable or sold out but still expected a good quality food. It should be a meal which brings me the memories of Poland and will be authentic home quality good polish food, well executed. Food I can proudly recommend to my non polish friends. We ordered plenty of dishes, a few starters, soups, main dish and some desserts. Non of them were seasoned well, all of them were quite bland; specially the chicken liver (which was bisicly fried chicken liver, onion and double cream - likely there was some polish mustard, salt and pepper on the table so I could spice it up a bit and bring the taste) The mash potatoes were terrible, really it was the worst part of the meal....we couldn't eat it at all left it all on plate. It was watery, soggy and tastless without a single touch of double cream or butter. It was more like over boiled potatoes left in pot with water for a long time. Next time, please serve just ordynary boiled potatoes rather than poor mash! Carrots salad served with my schabowy was dry and again not seasoned. Summer bigos left my friend very disappointed....and the disappointment continue with dessert. Ok the hoeny cake with walnuts was good, but your Orio cheesecake was so badly executed, tested nothing like cheesecake at all. The texture of the cheese wasn't pleasent and didn't tasted like a cheese. It was more like cake made from some pre mix bag, I am not sure? Cheap shouldn't means that there isn't any quality behind.

User

First time client, very dissapointed, as you expect polish restaurant with polish staff? well firstly surprised by non polish speaking staff , fair enough, secondly menu mostly in english. I walked in as a first time customer and i didnt know where to start from, order from the table or at the bar or what? noone gave us any instructions well even better i was feeling like a ghost there every staff was doing their job not caring about customers. Mostly its self service restaurant. the plates are at the table when you finish eating which i think is messy and disgusting while eating second meal. My order has been mixed up and the polish lady serving the food said "sory" instead of "przepraszam" so i think that was very rude and not polite at all without any manners! . Only one guy working there was nice and helpfull. Food fresh and tasty that was a good side. Overall Will not come back again, and wont recommend to a friend. thanks

Don't know who's the owner of Mamuśka but tonight you really made some people angry ! You have created an event on Facebook advertising that you be showing the football game yet people get there and you decide not to turn the sound on and making your own judgment on who of your guest wants to watch the game with the sound on ! Wtf? Plus your waitresses tell me that your computer is broke therefore there be no sound to this game ! I call that fals advertisement! It's like showing a movie without the sound! And you were utterly rude and disrespectful.. not for the first time anyway..its a shame :/ I used to like coming there but not anymore..will be spreading the word mate !
