We visited the restaurant on the 17th August the service was absolutely brilliant suzi was excellent and always on hand making sure our glasses were always topped up so thank you suzi for making out first experience at this restaurant memorable xx

We visited Banyan on 15th July for bottomless brunch. It was for my hen party and my day couldn't have got off to a better start.

The Food was excellent and arrived promptly and our server, Beth was brilliant. She was very attentive and nobody had an empty glass. She's a real credit to you.

I'd definitely recommend this place.

The service was fast the staff we're very good at there job I had a banana collada was fantastic I felt like Tom cruise in cocktail the steak and ale pie is to die for fantastic a fantastic bar a fantastic place to eat and drink

My friends and I visited yesterday for my birthday, we had bottomless brunch and it was worth every penny. Our waitress Layla was lovely, very pleasant and attentive, making sure our prosecco glasses were never empty. Will definately recommend to friends and will be back in the near future�

Can highly recommend the bottomless brunch, definitely good value for money. our waitress was an absolute gem, to say she had only started working there the week previous she was very professional and gave us excellent service. Will definitely go again x x������

Fab cocktails here but was disappointed yesterday with only 3/4 full glass to watch them tip the remainder in the cocktail shaker down the drain...why waste It and not give the customer a full measure of what they have paid for??

Brilliant time at Banyan. Table was ready for our arrival . We had full waitress service and didn’t move physically the whole time as we were looked after impeccably by Paige (Hope this is correct spelling) had a few cocktails. Food fabulous and would definitely go back 👌🎉

17 of us had a meal last night for my hen do. The food was nice and the staff and service were fab. Thanks for looking after my cake too �

Food was alright, wasn't piping hot when it came out, for the price you pay for the Sunday Roasts you would have thought you'd get all veg and not a choice of 2. Having to go up and order your food when there is staff standing about they could easily come and take your order for you, then you have this annoying guy shouting 'service' from the bar every few seconds whilst your trying to enjoy a peaceful Sunday lunch. Don't think I'll be in here eating again.

Went there last night for drinks with friends and we tried cocktails... the first was nice Mango and Vanilla Martini but for the price paid i would want more than three mouthfuls. The second we had thinking i know we will stick to the mango theme and so we had a Mango Margarita ..... DONT do it unless you like to drink toilet cleaner. Nasty is not the word. again a lot of money for not much drink... (which we left any way as it was so bad)

Waited over an hour to be served our lunch which was 2 sandwiches! The staff seemed to be more interested in serving the people their bottomless drinks in the booths...first time I've not left a tip! Sorry not somewhere I will rush back to.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience for Sunday lunch here this back holiday. I was visiting York with friends who live there and having had a delicious Sunday lunch here previously suggested going there. Now we understand it was a busy bank holiday and you were geared up for 'garden party brunch' however the meal was really disappointing. It was my friends birthday, she just discovered she's pregnant and this was not the meal we wanted. The waitress was great, the drinks delicious, the starters incredible however we weren't advised of the starters included in the 2 for £14.95, nor were we advised there was no crackling with the pork. When the roast dinners came out they were cold, incorrect and when requested more hot gravy it still came out cold. The best part about the meal were the vegetables and cauliflower cheese which were delicious and fresh. You did honor us the pork dinner for free as there was no crackling and was given beef incorrectly the first time round however we shouldn't really have had pay over £12 for a roast dinner of that standard. We probably won't go again or recommend. It also meant the lovely waitress did not get a tip.
