This course has been specifically designed for students, giving you an opportunity to learn with a qualified female scholar of the Quran at a time that best for you.

Alhamdulillah we host the UK’s largest 100th Urs of the great Imam, Imam Ahmad Raza.
Alahazrat is a multi-faceted personality and there are so many areas of discussion regarding him. He was quite simply a polymath who specialised in every branch of Islamic learning.
He was the foremost defender of faith in his century and today, Ahlu's Sunnah in the Indian subcontinent owe him a huge debt of gratitude for his services.
... This year is #The100thUrs as he passed away in 1340 AH - a hundred years ago.
Each speaker has been allocated a dedicated topic to lecture on so that we can cover the most important dimensions from the life of the imam.
Sisters will have the benefit of a large projector screen with a video feed.
Sunnis are invited to turn up in great numbers to this landmark event and show their appreciation and admiration for their defender of faith.
It promises to be the event of the generation and attendees will look back on it in decades to come, ان شاء الله.
This event is for Alahazrat. No Sunni should abstain from sharing, inviting and attending.

The Islamic year ends with the month of Dhul-Hijjah with the sacrifice of Eid al-Adha, and the new year begins with Muharram with memories of the historical martyrdom of Sayyiduna Imam Hussain Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anho. This philosophy of sacrifice in Islam teaches us the great lesson which forms the basis of spirituality, and this is the sacrifice of the Nafs and the acquisition of Sabr.
On Thursday 20th September also corresponding to 10th Muharram, a beautiful programme tit...led ‘Karbala: The Ultimate Sacrifice’ has been organised in which we learn and understand the historical relevance of the sacrifices which took place in the Battle of Karbala, on this day, 10th of Muharram, year 61 Hijri.
Joining us in delivering an Urdu speech will be the honourable Shaykh ul Hadith, Mufti Saqib Qadri al-Shami. In English, for the first time ever we host the renown Mufti Zahid Hussain al-Qadri who will also be sharing some of their knowledge on the topic of Karbala and the martyrdom of Sayyiduna Imam Hussain Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anho.
Also in attendance will be our resident Imams; Imam Irfan Chishti - Host Hafiz Moin Akhtar - Tilawat Hafiz Noor Mohammad - Naat
Join us as we commemorate these sacrifices which saved Islam and preserved the Ummah of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ.

Manchester Central Mosque are currently looking for 2 male teachers for the childrens madrasa during weekdays, 5:00pm-6:30pm
Applicants should be able to teach the Holy Qur'an and Qaida’s with Full Tajweed rules. They are expected to have a solid understanding of Islamic Studies to teach and explain Syllabus books to students. Must be able to speak English.
... Preference will be given to UK born university students

Takbeer-e-Tashreeq is read from Fajr Salah on 9th Dhul Hijjah (Tuesday 21st August)
to ‘Asr Salah on 13th Dhul Hijjah (Saturday 25th August)
After every Fard Salah prayed in Jama‘ah
To read it once loudly is Waajib (compulsory) and three times is Mustahabb (recommended)
Takbeer is Waajib as soon as Salaam of Fard Salah is performed
Takbeer is Waajib upon those residents who live in a city or the one who prays Salah behind a resident Imam
Takbeer should be read after ‘Eid-ul-Adha Salah too
Takbeer is not Waajib for one praying Salah alone but Mustahabb to do so.

On the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah ‎‫رضي الله عنه‬ the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There are no days more beloved to Allah that He be worshiped in them than the ten days of Dhul Hijjah. Each day of fasting in it is equivalent to the fast of an entire year. And each night standing in prayer is equivalent to standing in prayer on the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr).” [Jaami’ al-Tirmidhi, Vol. 3, Hadith 758]

1st Dhul-Hijjah: Monday 13th August... 9th Dhul Hijjah [Day of Arafat]: Tuesday 21st August 10th Dhul Hijjah [Eid al Adha]: Wednesday 22nd August
May Allah Ta'ala accept the efforts of all the Hujjãj, forgive their sins and shower His mercy upon them at every stage of the sacred journey.
If any one of you will be going for Hajj, we humbly request that you remember your Masjid in your duas.
The first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are amongst the most sacred days and therefore we should try and engage in as much worship as possible. We encourage all brothers and sisters to fast on the Day of Arafat: Tuesday 21st August.

We are delighted to host one of the most prolific speakers in our times at Manchester Central Mosque this Saturday between Asr till Maghrib. Syed Hashmi Miah is a name that needs no introduction - his presence alone is an honour for any gathering. Come along to hear about some of the more subtle, spiritual aspects of Hajj.
The programme will start promptly with tilawat by resident Hafiz Moin Akhtar sahib followed by a traditional Naat by traditional group known as Jamiat e H...assaan - who have been singing the praises of the Prophet since the mid 80’s! For the dedicated English speech we also have Shaykh Shabbir Sialvi from Oldham who will no doubt also send his own praises in his inimitable voice.

I had a fabulous couple of visits to the mosque when in Manchester from Australia. I was fed, blessed and cared for. When I come back next year I will host arts workshops with the children who attend mosque school. I can't wait to make are with them.

The mosque needs to clarify their position on imam who married a young girl and then disappeared. This brought shame to us as muslims and the media was pinalizing muslims. What did you do about it?
