Manchester Speaks

We are a student-led social action group that is part of the UN Award winning leadership programme: 'Parliamentors'. Parliamentors is a programme where teams of students intern for their local MP whilst being mentored to incubate a social action project that creates local positive change. Our MP is Charlotte Nichols (MP for Warrington North) and she helped us incubate Manchester Speaks!  We aim to create a Manchester where the student voice plays a more engaged role in political discourse and activity by: -Increasing student political literacy.  -Combating student community disengagement
