Manchester Think Tank

The Manchester Think Tank is an intercollegiate student-led, research and project-driven think tank based in Manchester which provides students with the opportunity to be politically engaged in a non-partisan way; gives students the opportunity to engage in policymaking and provides a platform for them to answer some of the most pressing questions facing our society today. We have a number of policy centres each mentored by a centre Fellow. Our centres are: - Environment, Energy and Sustainability- International Development and Global Affairs- Education- Tech and Innovation- Local StrategyThe Manchester Think Tank is an ambitious project aiming to bring students from a wide range of disciplines and from all levels of the university to: - Create real, radical and substantive shifts in paradigm rather than symbolic gestures of progress. - Solve issues through action, creativity and technology. - Give students the opportunity to engage; have their voices heard, and hopefully make a difference.
