Manchester United continued their early season goal scoring with another 4 away at Swansea City. Eric Bailly opened the scoring shortly before half time following in from a Paul Pogba header that had hit the bar to give United the lead at the break. Swansea kept United out until the 80th minute but they scored 3 in 4 minutes from Lukaku, Pogba and Martial which takes their total goals to 8 in two games and keep them top of the league.
United's next game is this Saturday at home to Leicester City.

Liverpool 1 C Palace 0
It was a welcome 3 points for the reds today as Sadio Mane scored his 2nd goal of the season in the 73rd minute to seal the points. Liverpool played some good football in parts with Andy Robertson impressing at left back in his premier league debut.
Liverpool's next game is at home to Arsenal next Sunday.

Massive result for the reds in Germany which makes us massive favourites to progress to the champions league group stages.
Liverpool went ahead with a superb free kick from Alexander-Arnold in the 35th minute after Simon Mingolet had saved a penalty early in the game from Kramaric. Liverpool went 2-0 up when a deflected cross from James Milner went in at the far post. Hoffenheim hit back late on through Utah.
... Both sides had great chances to score more but it's Liverpool who held on for the win.

Manchester United 4 West Ham 0
United made a great start to their league campaign with a comprehensive 4-0 win over West Ham at Old Trafford. Lukaku opened the scoring in the 33rd minute on his premier league debut to give United a 1-0 h/t lead. In the second half they started as they finished and Lukaku doubled United's lead in the 66th minute with a simple header from a Mkhitaryan free kick. Late goals from Martial and Pogba sealed a convincing win for the reds. Nemanja Matic was superb on his premier league debut. United now travel to Swansea next Saturday hoping to make it 2 wins from 2.

Watford 3 Liverpool 3
Not the greatest start for Liverpool today. There was the positives of how good they look going forward and the goals we scored but the defence needs massive investment in all areas, were lacking quality in all defensive positions. Big big game against Hoffenheim on Tuesday now. Goals from Mane, Firminho and Salah wasn't enough to take the win. Jurgen Klopp now needs to go and strengthen before the transfer window closes to ensure we're not left behind this season. YNWA

REAL MADRID 2 MANCHESTER UNITED 1
Real Madrid came out on top in the super cup in Macedonia with goals from Casemiro and Isco with United's reply coming from Lukaku. Both teams were guilty of missing great chances but Madrid were the deserved winners on the night. United now start their premier league campaign with a home game against West Ham on Sunday.

Tough draw for Liverpool in the champions league qualifiers in Hoffenheim, if we play to our ability we will Progress but not a easy tie.

Liverpool lost out on penalties to Athletico Madrid in the Audi Cup Final in Munich tonight. Athletico took the lead in the 33rd minute through Bare. Liverpool were then awarded a penalty in the 83rd minute which Firminho slotted away. Liverpool made 10 changes from last nights game with a number of half time substitutions giving most of the squad a run out. The only player to miss for Liverpool in the shoot out was Jordan Henderson which gave Athletico the win. Not a bad couple of days for the reds in Germany remaining unbeaten against two top European teams. Jurgen Klopp now needs to persuade Coutinho to stick with Liverpool and strengthen 2 or 3 areas and we will go into the new season confident after a successful pre season.

United opened the scoring in Dublin through Mkhitaryan in the 10th minute. They held the lead until the 63rd minute when Sampdoria equalised, Praet the scorer. Matic made his debut for United and played 45 minutes. At half time United made four changes including the match winner Juan Mata coming on, he left it late but the scored winning goal in the 81st minute. It was another solid test for the reds who seem to be ticking along quietly and seem to be finding their feet coming into the new season. They now head into the Super cup next week against Real Madrid before starting the premier league season against West Ham at Old Trafford.
