Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London

A male friend and I had come from one bar for drinks here one night and ended up sitting by a small group of Asian men. My friend left so I went to get a cab out front. One of the men must have followed me and was literally blocking me trying to get into the taxi saying he’d give me a lift. I politely said no yet he persisted trying to usher me away. Luckily, despite being quite drunk I managed to get into the cab. Ladies please take care as there are clearly predators in this bar. These men were vile. This could have had a different, far more serious outcome.

Luxury hotel with all the class you'd expect. Visited for Dinner by Heston but had a poker around the hotel as well. Great for a date even if you can't afford to actually stay there!

We had a lovely afternoon tea experience. The service was exceptional and the food exquisite. We were very relaxed and not rushed at all. The Rosebery Lounge is a very pleasant setting and atmosphere. Highly recommended and we will be going back.

We ate at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal for our anniversary. The hotel and restaurant are lovely, the food was stunning. The table was positioned in front of the glass window to the kitchen, creating an amazing dining experience. The staff are well versed in the dishes, friendly and helpful. The cost is very high, but this is to be expected. Overall, I can't fault it.

Won best contemporary afternoon tea 2016 and totally justified. Possible best afternoon tea place i've been to. Service is impeccable..decoration is very nice. Impressive tea selection and food of high quality and extras offered multiple times. Definitely worth going to!

Excellent service from the staff. Enjoyed a 3 course dinner with a friend. The food was great with the staff attentive and providing a great service. They were happy to provide options and help with our diatry requirements where required. We had dinner at Bar Boulud and found it most enjoyable. I would be happy to recommend to anyone and will most certainly be returning.

Exceptional hotel and guest service at highest level. Afternoon tea is not to be missed . We visited during renovation and feel fortunate to have experienced the old world charm of this Hotel. The staff make you feel like you are most important person in the world . I have stayed at Mandarin Oriental in Boston several times and London property exceeded my already high expectations . Very special place with exceptional engaged staff.

Fantastic place. Went to Bar Bulud on a Time Out deal with three friends. The food was fantastic, the service out of this world and the venue gorgeous. Lovely staff. Lovely place. Amazing food. Highly recommended.

Great menu from Heston. For price and quality it sits between the Hinds Head and the Fat Duck. The staff were attentive but not overly. Will return to try other menu items but it will hard not to resist yesterday's menu choices again!
