Great fast paced sales, easily snatch a bargain New and old vehicles.

Very unprofessional, Manhiem Colchester customer service is very poor, bought a £13k vehicle on line, asked for it to be delivered. due to a turbo fault (undisclosed) it was undriveable, 2 weeks on still being pushed from pillar to post, needless to say calls never returned. I have asked to reject the vehicle and abort the sale but as they have my money I am powerless. Shame they just can't do the right thing and accept their mistake.

The worst Mannheim auction site I've ever visited.

Upon arrival greeted with a shrug and a mumble.

Toilets in an appalling condition, not dissimilar to festival conditions.

The cafeteria counter and trays had grime and general dirt everywhere you looked.

However these are all minor issues in comparison to the state that the cars are kept in. Often parked in ditches with water almost up to the side of the door sills. Dust and mud covering 90% of vehicles on site. In my experience Mannheim sites such as Bristol and Birmingham display, keep and advertise their cars in an excellent way. Colchester however failed to mention/advertise that a vehicle I recently won the right purchase had warning lights not described. Damage to the vehicle which was apparent upon close inspection was not mentioned in vehicle description. Central locking was faulty and not described on advertisement. Even trying to start the vehicle was an issue, the battery was completely flat.

Mannheim Colchester in my opinion do not deserve 1 out 5 stars. I would say they deserve a quick, prompt and thorough restructure.

Don't waste your time, auctioneers always start high then takes imaginary bids from bins, walls and chairs. As a private buyer the buyers premium is through the roof meaning you are best off buying elsewhere where you can at least test drive the car.

Never had an issue with this auction, very nice counter staff and auctioneers , the food is great and should be nominated for an award.
only grizzle is the parking at the moment.

An absolute joke! !! No one interested in getting things done when collecting cars, and I can only assume that organisation is done by some university graduate with an obscure degree, and no common sense about the real world whatsoever.

This place goes from bad to worse! I've been coming here for years as a private buyer, but they move the goal posts all the time and is turning into a big scam. Private customers forget it. High fees and now you even have to leave a deposit £500 before you walk through the door! How bad is that. If you don't buy anything you can que up at the end of a busy day to try and get your cash back haha I don't think so. They want to get rid of private buyers altogether. There was a time when they even charged you a fee to send off the logbook!!!
Is this lawful?? Don't expect them to back and honour a Manheim approved car either
