The winter months are my favourite time to go fishing I’m predominantly a river angler and once the floods and frost have cleared the weed out I can do something I love trotting for roach. Roach feed in the coldest temperatures when there has been a settled cold period. On one recent session with snow covering the ground I had a fantastic weekend with fish of 2.7, 2.2, 1.14, 1.14, 1.13 and 1.12 and a good few others over a pound.A red letter day and one of my best roach sessions.🎣🎣🎣🎣
