Just in case you are out and about this weekend...
On Sunday 20/01/19 Mannings Bar & Restaurant will be open for 12 noon to 5 pm. We are closed for a private function for the evening but everything will be back to normal on Monday.

We would definitely recommend the hotel for a short stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service from the staff excellent. All the meals we had, were generous portion sizes and delicious. The hotel is in a great central location.

We have stayed here more than 5 times now and have never had a bad experience

The staff are very attentive, the cocktails are well made and tasty

The food is always very good and the rooms are comfortable and clean, I would highly recommend the hotel and restaurant

We had an amazing evening out to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday, booked with some requests , have to say the evening was perfect from start to finish .

Amazing food from starts right through to desserts , lovely wine as well. The waitress we had serve us were excellent and understanding , so full marks for them , the lady who helped me organise the evening as well full marks ..The steaks were simply amazing.

After the meal we relaxed in the bar, again full marks in every area ..amazing cocktails in a lovely relaxed environment ..Thanks to everyone involved for such an amazing evening.

Stayed in the Apartments just across from the hotel. Great place with a small kitchen. Spotlessly clean with coffee machine, microwave, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception. Car park is across from hotel where the apartments ares situated. Central to everything. Strongly recommend.

I was well impressed with this hotel, food was outstanding and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice but perhaps could do with a refresh but that said the room I stayed in was better than a lot of rooms I've stayed in and was perfectly adequate.

Had a very tasty fillet steak with seasonal vegetables. Let me just say it hit the spot!

Fantastic food, atmosphere and staff. Will (and have) tell everyone how good it is. WeŌĆÖd had to postpone twice due to flu over Christmas and the reservation staff could not have been more accommodating. We were a large party of 10 so it must have put them out. However we arrived last night and it was incredible - massive shout out to our waitress Louise West who was absolutely amazing. Recommend the salmon, grilled blackened squid and sizzling platters. Thank you Mannings - we will be back! You made my mother in lawŌĆÖs birthday. XxX

Excellent food and drinks.All staff very attentive,efficient and pleasant.Would recommend this excellent hotel to anyone. We saw customers of all ages from 2 - 92 being looked after with the same courtesy and care. the hotel is also in a great location well worth a visit.

A swish, nicely furnished spacious apartment for the 3 of us! Gate entry system reassuring as in heart of town. Staff very friendly providing top tips on things to do and the complimentary drinks vouchers for use in the restaurant were greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Clean tidy up to date decor.

Didn't eat here only stayed for drinks, all good.

Only criticism is the apartment could really do with air conditioning, we found it a bit stuffy.

Ideal base for a longer stay being right in centre of Truro/Cornwall.

Not as good as we thought it would be. Large portions but expensive. The main was too salty and the crime br├╗l├®e was grainy and tasteless. However the waitress didnŌĆÖt hesitate in giving a refund. Staff were friendly and helpful and knew the menu well. Five splayed feet supporting the table made it difficult to get comfortable and relax - always a leg in the way of your feet!

Having been here many times, we're always hoping to see something different on the menu but left a little disappointed. The sizzler platters have been on for years! They maybe a favourite to some but I'd be nice to see some seasonal dishes. The locally sourced specials on Saturday night really didn't seem to particularly "local"..Carribean jerk chicken? Spanish fritata? However you can never fault the service or the delicious cocktails!

Beautiful place lovely staff but the food let it down fries were over cooked and the salad was just green salad leaves. But the service was excellent.
